丹佛市中心威斯汀酒店(The Westin Denver Downtown)

This property is really nice. The front desk service was great, the room was clean, and we had a great view. There were a few things I didn’t like. The door to our room was really hard to open from the inside. The fire alarm went off a few times during our stay and if there really was a fire, it would be unsafe to be staying in our room because of the door. Also, the service at the hotel bar was lacking. It took forever to get served while we were sitting at the bar. It wasn’t busy at all. We had to get up a few times to go over to where the bartender was standing to place our order. Most of the time they were too busy talking to each other or texting on their phones. Finally, when people in the rooms around you close their doors, it’s really loud and would wake me up, which is annoying at 3am. When the people staying in the room adjacent to ours would close their door, it would shake our shared wall. WiFi isn’t free unless you book directly through the hotel and are a member of their rewards program. Other than these issues, I did like the Westin and would probably stay again.

This hotel was under construction during my stay. I was not made aware of this until showing up at the hotel. The “restaurant” was just a metrimg room with some tables thrown in the first few days of our trip, then the real restaurant opened back up but they were still doing construction so I got to hear that during meal times. I also purchased breakfast in advance through my booking app. The first day there were no problems, the second day the hotel claimed we only paid for continental breakfast which consisted of melon and bread. They then told us we hadn’t actually bought anything. I don’t know where the missing link was in our communication but I did not appreciate being treated this way on my honeymoon no less.

The Westin is always fantastic. Great location very clean very nice staff always a great place to stay. Only downside is valet parking is too expensive but worth it. New Year’s Eve was fantastic fireworks right outside our hotel room.

Completed early check in yet still had to wait in line for 25 minutes to check in. Not sure why I bothered as our experience was no different from anyone else. Westin policy is to close all bars at 11:30, even on NYE downtown, which was disappointing. Nice property, would consider staying again.

The area was great, but the lack of a good restaurant in the hotel itself was a drawback to staying here.

They charge a $25 "Destination Fee" per night's stay, which essentially requires you to eat or drink at the hotel bar lounge. Allegedly, that fee gives you a $25 credit towards your tab; however, they did not do so. Worse yet, I was charged for a tab that wasn't mine. Now more than a week later, I am still working with hotel staff to resolve these errors.

Great location, very comfortable & spacious room, staff excellent for the most part. BUT, the room service leaves slot to be desired. For a four star hotel to serve me meals on cardboard with plastic utensils falls WAY short of the mark. This more like GrubHob or Door dash level of service, and wholly shameful to the Westin brand :-/

The Westin in Downtown Denver has jumped to the top of my favorite downtown hotels. Spacious room with plenty of lighting and plug-ins for all your techy stuff. Best pillows on the planet! Tons of perks. Much fun had at the bar with 2 of the best bartenders ever
