常米尼自然度假村(Chumey Nature Resort)

I wanted this to be a great stay but it wasn't. It is way off the beaten path which should be good for peace and quiet and great views. Unfortunately, the owner has a pack of dogs 10+ that will bark at each other constantly day and night. There is NO peace and quiet here. The rooms are up a large amount of stairs and have a view of a tin roof from the walk way. The heaters are inadequate for the winter chill. The wifi is unstable and almost unusable. This is the only place I stayed in my 2 week trip in Bhutan where the staff are not very friendly. I did meet the owner's son in law and he said he was trying to help his father in law out and get the place back on track. (he seemed like a nice guy) They have the opportunity to make this place great but until then I would avoid IT. I canceled my stay and moved to another property after one sleepless and cold night.

This wasn't the first time I visited Chumey, as it's my favorite destination every trip to Bumthang, it truly feels like a home away from home! Every guest that has ever visited the resort and taken in the wonderful scenery and the a**osphere, never wanted to leave!
