When we arrived, we liked the garden with the picnic tables and the friendly wooden houses around it. Our room also had a cosy atmosphere and a nice balcony with some shade after 11 am. Breakfast was also good. However, the lady who runs the place is very unprofessional. Not having asked us to pay at check-in or the day after, on the third day she shouted up loudly to our balcony the words „money, money! Now, now!“ multiple times. As we were about to start a hike we asked her to pay later, but she insisted in a very rude manner. She really made us question the warm Armenian hospitality that we had experienced at our other hotels. When we addressed her inappropriate behavior later, she denied it and said it was all a misunderstanding. We would have paid on check in or check out, of course, but not at this inconvenient time and with such rude insistence. Other issues: - breakfast starts only at 9.30 am (although on one day it was served earlier at our insistence) - during our 5 nights the mattress became rather uncomfortable - the walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbors snoring So, no we would not stay here again.
