This is indeed a hotel , hacienda, different from others We arrived after a flight from Europe and a long taxi drive through the busy Quito traffic Hotel is located high outside the city in a green surrounding , upon the hills. Remote and silence please, beware you need a taxi for every destination It offers great views of Quito, especially at night Friendly welcome , motivated staff Rooms are indeed special, not one room is the same, lots of details Don’t expect the standards from a major upscale hotel, no this place is different It really has style and personality Yes, you can argue about storage room, shower or bath etc, but than you better do not stay here! We had a fireplace, since there is not central heating and up on the hill it can get chilly and humid, but the fireplace gave us perfect temperature and it felt cosy Great stay for one night .
