Hôtes très accueillants, chambre spacieuse et literie au top. Très propre, produits de toilettes fournis, linges de bain et linges de lit aussi,ce qui est très apprécié. Je recommande cette adresse.

Where to start! I would challenge anyone to find a better B&B and better hosts. A welcome drink, beautiful rooms, beautiful garden, beautiful lounge and dining room all for the guest! We we’re a couple and a 16-year-old daughter who was amazed that her bathroom was twice the size of her own bedroom. (She has a double room at home). We used both of their lovely rooms so had the lounge, dining room (great for a game of cards in the evening) and garden to ourselves. Have a drink and read a book whilst you relax in a lovely garden chair or on a comfy sofa in the lounge. Help yourself to drinks or a snack from the dining room fridge, drinks for children and adults and pop your money in the honesty box, just brilliant! Choice of what you want for continental breakfast and at what time arranged on the evening before, many choices of home-made jams made from what is seasonably available locally, home-made yogurt and more. Room comfort second to none, full of character and everything you need from an iron to toiletries. To say we loved it was an understatement, thank you Paul & Nicola for allowing us into your wonderful home!

Our stay at Le Patio was wonderful. Having worked in the deluxe five-star hotel industry we looked for flaws and couldn’t find any. On the contrary; every possible need is thought of with amazing attention to detail. The bedrooms and all other areas are immaculate and spacious, beautifully and comfortably furnished, including the peaceful rear patio where we enjoyed delicious two course dinners with wine. The breakfasts were plenty and yummy; fresh bread and viennoiseries, topped off with local fruits, home-made jams and honey, cheeses, yoghurt and cereals, fresh eggs. Nicky and Paul gave us very good advice about the regional highlights of our interest and how to get there. They are exceptionally welcoming, extremely attentive and genuinely caring; the perfect hosts who made us feel at home!

Had a fabulous stay here for four nights. Was in the area specifically to attend a wedding but we were able to drive around the area too. Our excellent hosts, Paul and Nicky recommended visiting Brantôme market on the Friday morning and then onto Perigueux to walk through the old streets before viewing the amazing cathedral there. Le Patio was a wonderful base, Paul and Nicky could not have been more welcoming and attentive. Our room was lovely with a fabulous ensuite bathroom/dressing room. The breakfasts were delicious offering a variety of dried fruits, nuts, granola, muesli and homemade yoghurt. Eggs cooked to your liking with delicious fresh bread and a good selection of home made jams. Can’t wait to book again!!

This is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Beautiful house with large bedrooms and a simply stunning garden to relax in with wine. Exquisite attention to detail. First class service and products. Delicious breakfast. The hosts (Nicky & Paul) know exactly what guests need and their hospitality is second to none. Lovely village and a great place to stay for exploring other towns in the area. I cannot recommend this property enough. Just fabulous. H&I

Very welcoming friendly hosts. Beautiful rooms with crisp linen and every toiletry provided. Immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast with homemade jams and fresh pastries. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Would highly highly recommend.

We stayed at Le Patio for seven nights on a B&B board. This beautiful accommodation is located in a small but perfectly formed village. It’s location is great for touring the Dordogne and Charente regions. We chose ‘La Place’ as our bedroom which was huge, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Nicky and Paul, our hosts put a lot of thought into Le Patio. Luxury toiletries, sumptuous breakfasts using local and homemade produce. Excellent service in all aspects to our stay. Paul cooked us a couple of evening meals which were good value for money and delicious. Nicky and Paul were attentive without being intrusive. They suggested various places to visit, which we did and were happy with their recommendations. This couple are an excellent team that go the extra mile for their guests. I would recommend couples to base themselves here if you are having a driving tour of the regions. Le Patio is definitely worth a return visit.

What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at Le Patio. Definitely one of the best experiences we've ever had at a B&B. The communication right from our initial enquiry through to our stay was exemplary. Nicky and Paul have created the ultimate B&B experience and their attention to detail is second to none. The quality fittings, furnishings, linen, and towels made us feel very spoiled. The lovingly prepared breakfasts are delicious and very substantial with locally sourced pastries and breads, home made yogurts and jams, fresh eggs, local fruits, a selection of teas and strong coffee. It really does set you up for the day ahead. It was also nice and relaxing each evening to enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine in the peaceful, quiet rear courtyard complete with an array of comfortable lounges. We will have very fond memories of our stay at Le Patio for years to come and we encourage everyone to see for themselves what a truly remarkable experience this is.
