Savegre 酒店自然保護區暨水療中心

Superbe hôtel idéalement situé au milieu de la vallée de San Gerardo de Dota et toujours géré par les descandants des pionniers qui ont "découvert" la vallée dans les années '50. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec le parc national Los Quetzales. Finalement, nous sommes restés dans la superbe vallée de San Gerardo de Dota qui héberge des quetzals à l'année grâce à la présence d'avocatiers du Guatemala - dont ils se nourissent des fruits. Le domaine de l'hôtel comporte un jardin aménagé pour les nombreux colibris, divers sentiers de randonnée, dont certains particulièrement prisés des ornithologues, ainsi qu'un mirador offrant un superbe panorama sur la vallée. Nous avons réalisé une sortie d'observation du quetzal (entre autres) en compagnie de Raul Fernandez Chacon (Whatsapp +***********), petit-fils des pionniers qui se sont établis dans la vallée; a réserver en direct ou par le biais de l'hôtel. Spa équippé de jacuzzis et d'un sauna et restaurant impeccables.

The drive to get to the hotel (5 miles) is very difficult. Took us 30 min for 5 miles. Great breakfast and happy hour. Staff are very friendly and even help us look for quetzals in their garden. We are lucky to see this beautiful quetzal twice in their property.

I get that it's a pristine natural reserve. Savegre and the staff are great. It's beautiful there. Self guided hiking is great. However, prices for food and drink are really high for what you get. The beds/pillows and bathrooms were not super, they were ok. If the food/drinks were a little cheaper I'd give it 5 stars because it's an amazing place.

The hotel is very well kept as the surroundings. The food selection is very good and the prices are fair. There are a lot of activities for guests such as bird watching, hiking trails, horseback riding. There is also a Spa that offers diverse services. Excellent place to relax by the River Savegre. I would definitely come back.

Lugar placentero y seguro, muy bien servicio en general, buenas opciones para comer en los restaurantes (snack bar -social- con chimenea. El otro excelente menú y precios normales calidad - costo. Desayuno con un amplio buffet y un gran servicio por parte del staff en general!!! Tiene un mirador y varios senderos en la propiedad (montaña) del hotel; con oportunidad para realizar varios hiking según condición fisica. Es nuestra segunda oportunidad en este lugar. Volveríamos nuevamente !!!!!

Un lugar hermoso para pasar con la familia. Buena comida y lo que más disfrutamos fue la fogata. Buen servicio.

Beautiful!! Nice & comfortable rooms. The beautiful property has a protected reserve with many trails. Lots of bird watching opportunities. We saw the resplendent quetzals several time from the property and couple of times while dining in their restaurant. They arrange good guides for bird watching/ treks etc. decent food options & they also have a spa on property.
