If you looking for some luxury, tranquility and beauty far off the beaten track, this is it! Close to heaven in many ways.

5 Stars to the incredible setting and 360 views from floor to ceiling windows. Managing couple were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spectacular with excellent sleep quality 4 Stars to the general service which was subdued and lackluster. Understandably using local because its the right thing to do (BRAVO!) but real training needed. Also very few wines on the very limited list were actually available (they did apologise but still not top drawer to get to that point) The effort put in by the cook was commendable and most of it was great, but I would recommend fewer courses done better (an example is the starter at dinner which was a mix of lettuce and mayo with a medium poached egg on top, followed by 2nd course which was couscous. The couscous could have been added to the main meal which was starchless....just some simple tweeking needed) We will definitely be back and for 2 nights next time.

Amazing - best value for Money. Birdwatchers paradise especially if you are looking for the Drakensberg specials. Five star dining experience with friendly staff and the most amazing view. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The place where you will experience top of the world comfort and relaxation, being at that high altitude. Use of a high clearance vehicle is recommended due to the steepness and condition of the Naude's Neck road.

This is such a gorgeous gem in the most beautiful setting. It is secluded and you feel part of nature, and also not overwhelmed by a lot of guests (there are only 7 rooms if I'm not mistaken). This place has tremendous potential.

We stayed 3 nights at Tenahead Lodge. What a beautiful place! We enjoyed our stay and Bianca and Keenan the Managers were there to make sure that we had a wonderful time and attend to every need we had. We also had excellent meals that were prepared beautifully - oh it tastes so good! Compliments to the chef - Justice! We will definitely visit them soon again!

Tenahead is superb: location, view from the rooms, fireplaces in bedrooms, five-course dinners, etc. There are some nice walks, with excellent birding. The drive there goes through some of the most magnificent scenery in South Africa. Visit Tenahead; you will not be sorry.

Wonderful location. Great service. Hiking in the beautiful mountains was lovely. Every meal was special and delicious. We had a wonderful weekend. Traveling to Tenahead took longer than expected. A vehicle with high clearance is advised, if the road is wet you will need a 4x4.
