阿斯萊克民宿(Aslaich)

It’s not written but there is no breakfast in the Bed & Breakfast. We looked this kind of accommodation to have the breakfast before starting the day, but there is no breakfast. The bed is not really comfortable but it was fine for 2 nights. We were lucky as we had the room with the private bathroom so we didn’t have to cross the hall. We didn’t see the host. The room and bathroom were really clean. It’s really close to Urquart’s castle.

No one from the B&B was present during our stay. There was a paper on the front door that we had "room only". So there was no breakfast. That was also an unpleasant surprise for other guests. The site clearly states that there is breakfast! We had to go into the hallway for the bathroom. We had expected an "en-suite". That is not a private bathroom!! It was cold, but the heating was turned off and the controls blocked. In short, we are very dissatisfied. The owner cut off our calls.

Disappointing. Was more like a hostel than a bed-and-breakfast. First, there’s no breakfast! For £70/$86 they should provide at least juices, pastries, etc. No refunds, & bathroom was across hall (no en suite). Never met the hosts, was greeted by a note on the door. Otherwise facilities were clean, comfortable bed and small but functional shower. Convenient to Great Glen Way walkers but not to the center of town, about a mile away. Can not recommend.

Die Zimmer waren extrem klein, fast keinen Platz einen Koffer zu deponieren.

Decor Old, Smell not to my liking

Place was very cozy and a nice break from the big city travelling! Would definitely stay again :)

The heating was rarely on and there was no way of turning it on, so it was very cold, but otherwise it was a nice little place. It was a bit difficult without a car as there are no taxis and buses don’t come by often, but it is only about a 20 minute walk into the village, so that was only difficult when leaving with heavy luggage. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of Scotland.
