The place looks exactly like the pictures and even better in person. It was clean and beautiful. Had everything you needed after a flight and was close to a lot of restaurants and bars that were walking distance. Additionally it was quiet at night which is a rare thing to find in Dublin, I highly recommend.

Our family stayed at Pembroke Hall and had two rooms for five nights. It was so pleasant and felt just like home. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The owners are so nice and treat you like family. We would gladly stay there again. It was clean and very comfortable.

Absolutely terrific place to spend a few nights. Rooms are immaculate, good-sized, and very tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail like fresh water, nice shampoo and soap, makings for coffee, a small refrigerator, and even wine glasses. Lots of restaurants close by and a 15-20 minute walk to Trinity and the center of town. Hilary was warm and welcoming, and very helpful with inside tips. No elevator if climbing stairs is an issue.

The guest house is cozy and nice. The staff is very helpful in checkin. The room is cozy and clean. The drawback is the location, it takes a 10-mins walk from the bus stop. Also there is no lift in the hotel. It is not convenient as we are carrying luggages.

Great guest house with very comfortable rooms. Good location. Easy and interesting 25 minute walk to Trinity College and Temple Bar area. Even less to Merrion Square and St. Steven’s Green. Good restaurants and pubs nearby. We stayed here twice. Loved it

Pembroke Hall was just lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room was great. It was like stepping into Georgian Dublin. I felt very at home in my room .I arrived early to drop my luggage and Hilary was there. My room was ready and she let me in around 11am! Lots of places to eat nearby and a 20 minute walk into St. Stephens Green. The only negative is there were no bureaus or closets to put my clothing. I stayed for several nights and will go back!

Beautiful room, perfect for a night or two, but no dressing table/area or place to unpack if you had a big bag. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were lovely, and plentiful. The shower door didn’t close, the shower plug cover is loose so just mind your step, and there is no toilet brush (just a toilet brush holder). A few dead wasps on the window sill but other than that it’s very clean and welcoming. Hilary is very helpful with recommendations.

Total rip off Dublin €242 for one double room for the night no breakfast. We won’t be back. Whether there is a rock continuing or not please don’t take advantage of people who are not going to the concert. I cannot see tourism surviving in Ireland.

A small boutique hotel, in a beautiful building, in the tranquil leafy suburb of Ballsbridge. It’s a very pleasant 20 minute walk to Grafton Steet or you may wish to stay local (as we did one night) and try out the restaurants and pubs around the corner. There are also good local shopping facilities with a Boots, Tesco and Spa a few minutes walk away. Our room was on the top floor – which meant carrying our heavy suitcases up 6 flights of stairs (there is no lift) - and was cool, quiet and comfortable, which was much appreciated during a hot and busy week in Dublin. We had a kettle, coffee pod machine and a small wine fridge. Perhaps a toaster, microwave and a larger fridge would be a suggested improvement? The bathroom was small but adequate thought I found the shower lacked power. Check-in time is officially 4pm which accommodates those wishing to have a late check-out. In practice it looked as though the rooms are nearly always ready much earlier (ours was available when we arrived at 2pm). There is also a very useful ‘taxi butler’ system whereby you press a button and a taxi arrives, normally in a few minutes (making an allowance for rush-hour or wet weather as would be the case in most cities). I think we chose well and would definitely recommend this place.

Pembroke Hall is a period home that has been maintained and decorated to a very high standard. The bedrooms are simple but very elegant and the bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The owners are knowledgeable and peroxided some very good advice of where to eat and drink in the surrounding area and they also made the visit one of the best I have had I. Dublin. They even managed to get us our room earlier which was amazing.

My husband and I recently spent a glorious night at Pembroke Hall, a fabulous, elegant Georgian townhouse in the heart of leafy and upmarket Dublin 4. The house is absolutely stunning, with incredible design and ambience. We were welcomed by the owner, who was friendly and incedibly helpful with local recommendations and infromation. Our room was a perfect oasis, overlooking Pembroke Road, with gorgeous high celings and plenty of amenities. We strolled up to Baggott Street for dinner and drinks before retiring to the comfiest bed for a very restful night. The whole stay was heaven and I can't wait to come back again.

The room was supposed to be a luxury room. It was big and clean but lacking..ie 4 coffee pods and milks for 2 people for a 3 night stay, a cushion on the bed with holes in, no instructions for coffee machine, no shelves to store clothes. We were given a ground floor room next to the stairs, meaning other guests were sat outside on the steps talking on their phones and smoking, and the gate clanging. We were told by the owner that he didnt live far away, but returned one afternoon very tired and needing a rest and shower before going out again, only to find we couldnt open our safe. It was clear there had been issued with it previously as it had been taped over inside. It had no power. We rang the owner who called us back and I was asked to go back upstairs and basically rummage around their living room cabinet amongst all sorts of junk, to try and find the keys. I was tired and it cost me the time I needed, I then got told he lived 25 mins away and I was going out in 30 he wouldnt make it. When I told him this wasnt my responsibility, I got an aggressive response of look do you want your safe open or not? When I said listen mate, I got dont mate me, even though its just a colloquialism, like how the Scots say pal. There are no staff on the premises at night, and those downstairs are woken up by the banging door of the owners who come in early, laundry man and people getting their cases. We have stayed in other places loke air b and b and had far better treatment by this. On our last night we discovered some notices for guests on the lounge table that we hadnt been made aware of. There was also supposed to be an honesty bar, but we couldnt find one. The wooden floors mean if youre downstairs you hear people walking about. We didnt help feel these owners couldnt care less about their guests really. We wont stay again but we did have a nice time.

I arrived on a late flight and was let down by a bus out of Dublin. I called here at night to see if they had a room available only to be told “if we did have one we wouldn’t give it to you as the next check in is 4pm tomorrow”. Extremely rude. Everywhere else we tried were extremely helpful and accommodating… but not here.
