摩根酒店(The Morgan Hotel)

Although the whole area was under construction, the actual location was excellent. We walked almost everywhere to all major attractions such as Parliament, Big Ben, the Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Bridges, etc. As a runner it was easy to simply follow the Thames so I wouldn’t get lost. I liked the Gym and Pool and especially loved the restaurant. The restaurant was very dirty, the seats needed to be brushed out and wiped down, even the chair legs were greasy looking BUT the food was really good. The bar did not carry any Cabernet wine which was odd.. our bar tender Danny was very good and friendly. I liked our suite, it looked over the railroad tracks but worth it for us with 2 teenage boys to have the suite. The entrance to the hotel was extremely over bearing with a strong perfumed air freshener… it made it difficult to breathe upon entering but as soon as I got away from it in the elevator I could breathe. Overall, it was a good place to stay for a vacation in London.

I stayed at the Morgan to attend at show at the Appllo. So the location was excellent. The room was fine. The breakfast good. It gets a njgher rating than I might have given it because the staff were excellent. Special mention to Jamie who helped when I realised I’d left my coat and travel pass in the room too late to go back for it. I think the hotel possibly suits a younger traveller. The bar on Saturday night really looked like fun and as you would expect, Temple Bar was,wild!!

Unfortunately we stayed in a room which was exposed to a very noisy street. I have not experienced this before when staying here . When I complained to the front desk upon check out they didn’t react with any concern.

Wonderful hotel and close to everything. I would definitely stay again. I did not try the breakfast but I heard it is good.

Hotel bem localizado, no centro com muitos bares e restaurantes. Semelhante ao French Quarter de Nova Orleans. Achei seguro, mas quem procura um local tranquilo, certamente essa não é a melhor escolha. Hotel muito confortável, limpo, mas não tive sorte com o staff. Pela manhã solicitei que meu quarto estivesse limpo por volta das 13 horas por motivo de trabalho e, apesar de minha insistência com a recepção, só ficou pronto às 16 horas!!
