I would not give a five-star rating to Anantara. The check in experience was slow (one person available at the front desk with seven people waiting - after someone complained to an employee passing by 4 more appeared from another office.) There was difficulty finding my reservation, which had been made and paid for months in advance. Most disappointing was the failure to provide a table at the rooftop bar/restaurant despite our 7pm reservation ("yes, we have your reservation but there are no tables available") We were offered a free drink at the bar downstairs and a table there, but after a 30 minute wait we had dinner elsewhere.The property is well maintained, nicely situated,and the managers who tried to help were very professional.
