The Fleet is in a great location for all the downtown Dublin attractions. It is in the heart of Temple Bar and close to bars and restaurants. The hotel serves a fantastic breakfast in a clean and modern dining room. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar - the food is very good and reasonably priced. The bartender Daryll does a great job and is very customer / service focused. Our room had been remodeled and was a good size as was the bathroom. We were not bothered by traffic or bar noise. The desk staff were helpful, professional and courteous - we would definitely stay here again.

The Fleet Hotel 19-20 Fleet Street Dublin is a beautiful, safe hotel with people from all over the world staying here. Very convenient location for young and old. Easy walk to Westmoreland St, Grafton St shopping, Irish sweater shops, also to pick up hop on hop off bus for city tour, Staff can’t be better. Cafe 1920 and breakfast area excellent. We were so pleased with this hotel and tours

Don’t let the pictures of a pretty lobby fool you. While the lobby is really nice, it is not congruent with the quality of the rooms, or at east room 102 where I stayed. I spent about 12 hours in this room in total and couldn’t wait to get out of there. The room felt so dirty I didn’t want to touch anything and was glad I had my sandals, because the carpet looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for decades. Even the walls were dirty. I found hair on the towels and what looked like ********** on the bedsheets. The bathroom had been remodeled, but with not much attention to functionality — there’s no shelf to put your toiletries, no hooks for towels except for a small heating rack directly above the toilet. The room was so small I couldn’t even open my suitcase fully. The worst part was that the room SMELLED AWFUL with a combination of stale air, sweat and old carpet. Even though I had the window open the whole time, the curtains open and the fan on max, I woke up with an irritation in my throat that lingered for days. There is a huge street lamp right next to the window. The blackout curtains help, but if you close them, you won’t get any fresh air in. The staff who checked me in and out were nice.

We had stayed at the Fleet previously, we booked direct thru the Fleet. The rooms were nice with a large shower, comfortable beds,AC, and a nepresso. We booked thru your site 2 rooms "newly renovated double rooms". The hotel should be embarrassed as the rooms we NOT UPDATED AT ALL. The room was smaller than a DORM ROOM. The shower was so small you could not turn around in it. There was a "hot pot" for tea. No AC. The one room overlooked a small road, at about 10pm 2 ladies were walking down the road topless, and at 3:30 am there were 2 men and 2 ladies approx 40-60years old arguing on this street. So if this is not bad enough, I checked us out of both rooms and when asked how the stay was, I complained, the girl smirked at me and asked if it was loud, I told her the story that I just told here and she actually kept her smirk and giggled.

What a GORGEOUS hotel! Pros: -Absolutely stunning hotel. -Unbelievably friendly staff! They were so helpful and went above and beyond. Cons: -It's an old building, and SUCH a maze to get to our room, with many stairs! I had a really heavy suitcase, and getting it back out (the staff helped on the way in) was a challenge!

Overall, everything was fine. The hotel looks lovely on the outside and lobby is beautiful but the rooms were very underwhelming. I would normally look past this but our multiple experiences at the front desk is really where the disappointment lies. The staff came across as snooty and overall unhelpful. Maybe it’s because we are American but that’s not a good look for the hotel either. We experienced so much great hospitality every where else in Ireland, we will definitely be back but stay somewhere else.

Convenient place with excellent staff and pretty good rooms but tight space. Not much room to open one large suitcase and then couldn’t get to closet. Otherwise was in great location
