斯塔裏格拉德酒店(Boutique Hotel Stari Grad)

Mi esposa y yo nos alojamos en este hotel por 4 noches entre el 25 y el 29 de junio. He dudado si calificarle de muy bueno o de regular. Juzgue usted: Pros: La ubicación; dentro de las murallas y muy cerca de la puerta de Pale, en el centro de todo, lo que hace muy fácil regresar a él a tomar un respiro o dejar las compras. El personal muy amable, sobre todo la señorita que nos atendió en los desayunos. Y la vista desde la terraza, fabulosa para admirar la ciudad desde arriba. Contras: habitación relativamente pequeña, no es culpa del Hotel, la arquitectura de estos edificios no da para más. No hay ascensor, el desayuno se sirve en la terraza arriba del 5to piso, desde nuestra habitación en el edificio de enfrente (la 500..algo) fueron 120 escalones. El baño diminuto, tan pequeño como una caja de zapatos, te tropiezas con tus propios pies y en una ubicación respecto a la habitación que lo vuelve muy poco íntimo. El desayuno es a la carta, cinco o seis opciones sobre un menú base igual para todos. El edificio es tan estrecho que acomodas a los huéspedes o al buffet, no a ambos. La calidad del descanso, ropa de cama, toallas y productos de baño correctos y buena limpieza. En general: bien situado pero incómodo.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt. Morgenessen über den Dächern der Altstadt ist ein Traum. Das Personal und der Chef sind für das absolute Wohlbefinden mit viel Herzblut besorgt. Eine top Empfehlung und jederzeit wieder gerne

Thank you for reading this review. I have broken down each section from check in to amenities for your information. Check In - The property is centrally located and a short walk up from the main street. The staff at check in were efficient and organized. They swiftly helped with luggage and quickly obtained the information they needed. We were then escorted to our room for a welcome tour. Room - The room was luxurious, spacious and well appointed. There was a seating area with seating for 4, a desk, a great spot for placing/handing clothes and the bathroom was beautiful with a large walk in shower. The bed was VERY comfortable as were the pillows. There was good technology in the room. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel simply based on the room. Lounge - There is a fantastic lounge in the lobby of the hotel with seating inside and a few tables outside lining the alley. The staff in the lounge were incredible. Very knowledgeable and helpful and they mix up some creative and delicious cocktails. Location - The property is located with easy access to all the main streets in inside the walls. You can walk in any direction when leaving the hotel and find incredible restaurants and shopping. If you are looking to get a tour of the property, I would highly recommend the app Getyourguide. Super easy to use and lots of options! I have used this app for many tours around Europe and it works fantastic! Spa - There is a Thai spa on the property. We had a number of 30 minute short massages at the end of our day after touring. I would highly recommend this as it was a great refresh before enjoying the evening! Overall - I would highly recommend this hotel for beautiful rooms, great service and exceptional location. This property is worth every penny! Thank you for reading this review. Beautiful hotel and close to everything in the walled area of Dubrovnik. Owners and Staff at the hotel were very helpful and so nice and friendly! A few choices in the breakfast menu and all were delicious ! Room furnishings were very accommodating and beds were very comfortable!

I stayed here as a solo traveller in August 2023. This hotel is located in the heart of Old Town. It is a boutique hotel, and from what I understand, it is one of only two hotels located in Old Town. My room was spacious. It has all the amenities that you would expect from a high-end boutique hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast was €40 on rooftop was excellent, and exceeded my expectations, especially with the portion size - it included coffee, juice, bread, and a selection of a main item (quinoa, eggs, salmon and guacamole). Spa services are offered by a studio across the street; I tried a Thai massage, and it was very good. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. Overall, I had an excellent experience at this hotel.

The Hotel Stari Grad is a boutique hotel - only 8 rooms - in a very central position in the old town. It was apparently a 16th century merchant's house, but has been converted to a very high standard in good modern style. The staff are friendly and flexible, and act very quickly to meet their guests' requests. Our room was a decent size, furnished to a high standard, in excellent condition and with a particularly comfortable bed. The bathroom was adequate in size, with a walk-in shower and, again, kept in excellent condition. (We were travelling with friends and noticed that their room, immediately below ours, had some noticeable differences of design, which implies care rather than a simple mechanical approach.) The hotel has a small bar in the lobby, which we didn't use, and a small but excellent restaurant on the roof terrace, with beautiful views. We dined there once, but it is also where breakfast is served. That breakfast is outstanding, with a good and imaginative selection of dishes prepared to order, in addition to basics like croissants and Mediterranean cheese, olives, etc. But I do need to mention The Elephant on the Stairs. The restaurant is called "Above 5" and, as one might guess, that places it at the 6th level above ground. With an old building in a World Heritage Site, it was not possible to install a lift. So you will need to manage a lot of stairs, and if that is a problem, you should really be looking for a different hotel. On the other hand, all our party were in their 70s and we could and did manage the stairs, accepting that as the price of an excellent hotel beautifully located.

This hotel is amazing. We spent 4 nights here, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was the best choice ! In the centre of the city, ideally located for most attractions. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much bother, always polite and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, with the much appreciated air-conditioning unit. The shower was the best one I’ve ever used. Unfortunately no lift, but it is 600 years old, so nowhere to fit one ! But the walk to the terrace on the roof , makes the steps most worthwhile. The views alone are simply fantastic. The breakfasts served there are fantastic, with a good choice. But the evening dinners produced there are the very best. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 course meal, on our anniversary evening. We will never forget it, delicious, presentation was great, and the waiters were most attentive. Would stay again in a flash.

This is an exceptional hotel and worth its steep price tag. You will not find a better location in the Old Town. Wonderful staff; wonderful service. Bar cocktails are ridiculously good from the house mixologist.
