南非之行的第一站。我們是在晚上到達的，什麼也看不見，但裡面的氣氛溫暖而熱情，有很多拋光的木材和建築，讓人想起古老的英格蘭。每個房間都有壁爐。食物很棒，令人驚訝的是我們的套房：實際上是一個帶有兩間浴室的公寓！房間裡有一瓶氣泡酒！醒來的感覺棒極了：藉著光線，我終於看到了這個令人陶醉的地方，這裡綠樹成蔭，還有可以釣鱒魚的湖泊。

我們出去度過了一個週末來慶祝我們的結婚紀念日。 所有員工的服務都非常棒。 他們很友好並滿足了我們的所有要求。 他們不遺餘力地讓我們的週末變得特別。 房間很寬敞，有一個大陽台，可以俯瞰其中一個湖泊。 景色很美麗。 早餐和晚餐的食物都非常好吃，尤其是鱒魚。 臥室裡有一個漂亮的壁爐，如果需要的話還可以提供木材供應。 房間裡沒有空調或風扇，我不知道夏天會有多熱。 壁爐讓房間溫暖舒適，只是清晨有點冷。特別感謝工作人員讓我們的慶祝活動如此特別。

Posto eccezionale situato in un oasi di pace. Resort in pieno stile British molto elegante e raffinato, stanze con caminetto e laghetti nelle vicinanze con possibilità di effettuare pesca., Corse a cavallo ecc. Ottimo ristorante in salette appartate e con servizio impeccabile. Peccato esserci fermati una sola notte.

Safari365 arranged this Hotel for a stopover on our way to Kruger, and what a place it was. The location just out of Dullstroom was ideal and being winter and cold the fireplaces in the rooms was fantastic after enjoying a well prepared meal in their Restaurant. I could not fault anything about this place and highly recommend it for an overnight stop and for two or three days,

Found this place by chance via a Google search and decided it would suffice as an evening stopover en route to the Kruger. What a beautiful place! Loved every minute of being here. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The main hotel was cosy and comfortable with superb staff. Food was delicious with a great wine selection. A beautiful estate which peaceful and safe. Perfect for a romantic weekend or longer family holiday.

A wonderful hotel that I wish I could’ve spent more than just one night at! The room was so cozy with the fireplace, the view from the room was stunning and the property was beautiful. Nothing more you could ask for. The four course dinner was DELICIOUS (the menu changes every night and when we were there I had the a leek soup - one of the best I’ve ever had, mushroom fricasee, and trout stuffed with risotto. My husband had the springbok carpaccio and the kudu steak which were both delicious as well). My massage with Shanon was exactly what I needed, even the view from the spa was gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and were so kind as to light our fire while we were out at dinner. 100% would return to and would recommend (though I am inclined to gate-keep this little spot)!

Walkersons was the perfect location for our 25th wedding anniversary. From our first interaction and booking, the service was outstanding and professional. The friendly staff welcomed us when we arrived and we instantly felt at home! Our room (nr 7) overlooked a small dam and was lovely, with a magnificent view over the water. The bed was super comfortable and the room offered everything we needed, and even has an outdoor shower! The Nespresso coffee machine and rusks added a really nice touch. Candles, champagne and spoils awaited us in the room after dinner on our anniversary. Lovely paved walkways around the dams. The Spa treatment was fabulous. Chef Lunga went out of his way to assist with gluten free options, which was definitely one of the highlights. The menu offers an array of good South African meals and the food is beautifully presented.

The Walkersoon Spa and Hotel is our favorite place and close to Johannesburg. The hills and lakes and all the wonderful surroundings, we always enjoy them. Also the restaurant with delicious food and is served from the very friendly staff. We came many times and we went there many times and had the best experience.

This was the perfect first stop for our South African road trip. Thankfully we had booked 3 nights to completely unwind and relax following our long journey from London. The entrance to the estate is fully secured and guarded 24 hours. Once through the gates, the long winding road which is well signposted, takes you through the estate of well spaced private residences, some of which are huge. On arrival at the lodge, Alex, the manager was there to meet and greet us and from that moment on, his attentiveness was first class. Never overpowering but enough to show he actually cared about our stay. Our first evening was a joy, listening to the sound of the toads, frogs and ducks from our veranda outside our beautiful room. The food here is incredible. So beautifully presented and fantastic menu choices. We indulged fully in the great choice of SA wine too! We hiked to the top of the ridge, on the estate, which took us longer than the expected 40 minutes but being silly Brits, we set off late morning as it started to heat up. It was a bit of a struggle in the heat and high altitude and we are in our 60's but we made it eventually! Well worth the effort for not only the views but also the wildlife over the ridge. I horse rode for the first time in many years at the onsite Dullstroom Riding centre which can be booked separately and is incredibly cheap. My husband had full intentions on fly fishing which is included and rods available in reception but time ran out and before we knew it, it was time to leave for our next destination. We could have easily stayed on for another few days as we both loved it here and were more relaxed as the time went on. We'll definitely return if we fly into Johannesburg and want to have instant relaxation in a beautiful setting. Thank you so much Alex and your team for our memorable stay.

We enjoyed the crackling fire in our well designed suite after a long wondrous day each time spent out on the magnificent estate. A very comfortable bed with electric blanket and underfloor heating in the bathroom made our stay just so much more memorable. Walkerson’s is to be commended for excellent service provided for by pleasant and professional staff who met our every need. Can’t wait…until next time.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights to end our stay in South Africa. The entire estate is beautiful and the staff are superb- friendly and professional and the service excellent. The food was outstanding for us- incredibly well priced but simply superb in terms of quality and presentation. The one thing I would say lets it down as a five star is that the rooms are in need of renovation- and small things like the bedding needs to be higher quality and the towels. The furnishings in our lakeside suite were looking tired and for a five star we would expect more. If they refurbished all of the rooms we would return in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately our room, number 18 wasn't included in recent upgrades. Very tired, cold and really not a 5 star. However, the restaurant food was superb and staff are extra pleasant and helpful. A lovely quite and very scenic hotel.

We were en route from Makgadigadi Pans home to Zululand and needed accommodation with a landing ***** nearby, Walkersons popped up. What an amazing find. Fabulous rooms and staff. The trout in almond butter for dinner was scrumptious. Lovely fire lit in our bedroom. We had an early start so took a packed lunch, the best we have received from any lodge, choice of 5 cheeses and assorted crackers, 4 sliced meats, delicious sandwiches, yogurt, 4 fruits and lovely sandwiches and homemade luxury granola. Briefly met the new owner Alex. They are doing a great job. Highly recommended.
