艾治沃特酒店和水上樂園(Edgewater Hotel & Waterpark)

The customer service was great when we initially booked. Initially purchased two wristbands with my reservation. I emailed to add a 3rd wristband and it was done quickly and received a response within 24 hours. The stay was 'okay'. The room felt a little older and dirty. The indoor waterpark was enough for a one night stay. We ordered 1 fries and 1 cheese curds from the Oasis Grill inside the waterpark, and waited close to 50 minutes for it to be ready. The biggest problem came after we checked out. I did not ask for a receipt as I usually don't have any problems with hotel stays. However, a few days later I noticed on my bank statement that I had been double charged for the room. I quickly emailed the hotel with a copy of my reservation and what the standard rates should have been. I also asked for a copy of the receipt at this point. The additional charge was refunded, however, I saw that I was also charged for four wristbands but I had only purchased and received three. I responded to have that refunded as well but have not heard back since.

Horrible and won’t be staying again, there was still garbage next to the bed for the people before, there was hair wig in the pull out couch and the mattress was nasty, walked into the room after checking in and had a plugged toilet. Called the front desk they brought me up a plunger to un clogged a toilet from the previous people.

Dirty and Old. And think of Chuck-E-Cheese type atmosphere. The pool hours are absolutely ridiculous. Value does not match the cost at all. I booked two rooms with a view of the waterpark for my family and another room with a lake view. Some staff were very nice, and some were awful. Hit and miss. The bathrooms are old, lots of rust spots around the tub and stains in general.

Kid-centric hotel. Kids were running up & down halls until 10:30 PM last night so don't come here unless you have kids. Great pool & waterpark area. Staff is very friendly & helpful! Would recommend this for time with kids but building is in need of maintenance. Cracks on walls, rust on exterior rails. Not a biggie if you just want family time. Minimal restaurant choices within walking distance. Highway noise outside lakeside rooms.

Staff was very friendly! But paying $20 pp per day for waterpark is NOT worth it! Especially since the waterpark isn’t open from 10am to 5pm I had 3 suites, all 3 smelled awful. Very musty/dirty feet! I have stayed at edgewater multiple times with our hockey families and my own family Will never again and definitely will not recommend to anyone Overly priced for not much to do onsite

The Hotel itself is not so bad, except for our toilet getting clogged. I don’t understand though, why the Waterpark and hot tub aren’t included in the price. It wasn’t cheap either. Speaking of the waterpark, it’s not that great. First of all, it was cold in there. Then, going in the water was downright freezing! The indoor hot tub looked like a good size and we had to go in just to warm up. I was wrong, there were two waterfalls going into it so 1/3 of the seats you had water running on your head or splashing in your face. Whoever designed must have never sat in a hot tub before. Needless to say, we will find a different Hotel next year.

Do not stay here. They do not tell you that they’ve had people who have checked to see if your doors were unlocked and try and steal out of your vehicle. We went and asked for a couple more blankets the person at the front desk ***** at my daughter.

Paid way too much for the dumpiest room I’ve ever stayed in. No free breakfast you even have to buy coffee. No included passes to the waterpark. The waterpark is only open from 8am-10am on weekends then later from 6pm-10pm. The bunk beds and not comfortable whatsoever. Couldn’t get served any food by the pool because they were to busy…yet can’t have any outside food brought in…so we were forced to decide between swimming hungry or not using the waterpark because we needed to go find food. All the furniture was stuff that wouldn’t go if listed free. They put me in the wrong room twice without an apology for the inconvenience. Definitely would not recommend this place not worth the money.

I love this place, been coming here for years. I don't come to this hotel for the pools or arcade games or the free mini golf course. I come here to relax and enjoy the views of the lake and the ships coming and going from the balcony. Yes its an older hotel but they are improving every year. Like I said, I come here for the beauty of the lake.
