Great hotel which gives you an outback feeling. Excellent restaurants and spacious rooms. And Kangaroos and Wallabies hopping around nearby.

Everything about our 2 night weekend stay at the Royal Mail was perfect. We stayed in the Courtyard room and it was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The beds are awesome, super comfy and we had 2 nights of long, blissful sleep and felt very rested the next day. We enjoyed a glass of wine and snack in the Wine Bar after arrival on Friday night and enjoyed the lovely wine and Leek Croquettes. Things peaked to perfection at dinner in The Parker Street venue on Saturday night. My port & beetroot and my partner's blue eye were superb, complemented by lovely wines/beer and fabulous service. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and service was excellent. We weakened to dessert - could not leave without trying them. The beetroot souffle was amazing and the pannacotta excellent. The food flavors and quality of all courses was outstanding. We loved exploring Dunkeld and the Grampians. Scenery is stunning and the rooms are located in an amazing garden of Australian natives. We loved every minute of our stay and will return..

Make time to visit this Victorian gem, set at the foothills of The Grampians (Gariwerd). The dedication to quality ingredients underpins fabulous dining experinces in both their fine dining and bistrot settings.

Location is absolutely amazing! Only issue we had was connecting to the Wi-Fi. Also was a issue with the water not working upon check-in. This was very inconvenient other than these issues. The place was an absolute pleasure.

Amazing views of the southern Grampians, just a short drive from bushwalks and the accommodation and food are amazing. Staff are so friendly and accommodating and the gastronomic experience at Wickens is up with the best in Vic.

We were given a voucher for Christmas. We stayed in the cottages across the road from the hotel. Very spacious and comfortable with lovely surroundings. No chairs were provided to sit outside, which would have been nice. Also there was only one place in town for breakfast, so an offer of a continental one in the room would have been a bonus.
