Excellent facilities and the property is maintained immaculately, with excellent ambiance, lighting design of rooms and even the room fresheners. Staff is friendly, helpful. Standard queen bed rooms are large for 2, and bathrooms are very clean too. Parking on multiple levels is convenient, and overflow parking to the premises nearby is also good. Walking distance from Duke and Duke hospital and all major university west campus locations. Plenty of duke and triangle go buses are also available. The hotel offers bikes too. Certainly will be back!

The hotel was lovely in most ways — except, in my case, the most important one. I searched on ******* for hotels that offer EV charging, and this one was listed. When I arrived, I found out there was none. Luckily, there was EV charging within walking distance, but I had to pay $30 to park in the lot where it was located (and had to pay for the charging as well). Insult to injury, I got a parking ticket as well, even though I was paid up. When you're driving an EV long distances for travel, charging is essential. This error in the listing — whether it was caused by *******, or the hotel — nearly ruined my trip. Sorry, it's an unforgivable sin (made worse by the inconvenience and cost it caused).

The hotel lobby, rooms service ...all good. The sound in the room was bad. We were on the 3rd floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants walking in room above. Could even hear snoring coming from room next to ours. I'm amazed that Marriot would build a very nice facility and then not do something special with sound deafening insulation.

I chose this hotel because it’s in walking distance of the Duke campus and many restaurants. It’s unfortunate that the rooms aren’t sound proof. The people above our room stomped around at all hours which made my time in the room unpleasant. Plus being awaken in the middle of the night by stomping and banging.

Great location if you are going to a Duke Cancer Center. Many food options. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Hotel was modern, and clean. Love that there are no carpets in the room. It felt very clean. Would def stay here again.

The staff was excellent. The manager worked late and accommodated us when returning late & was back working the front the next morning. She always had a smile & something nice to say. The staff tending to the rooms were also very pleasant, efficient and courteous.

We really enjoyed our stay with AC Marriott. Clean, great customer service. I will be staying again.
