The place was dingy and dirty. Photo’s to prove this. Welcome was very abrupt and they take your personal details and leave them on display on the table by the front door for everyone to see. No regard for GDPR! The bathroom is in the wardrobe. Smells musty.

Date Stay - 24/09/2022 I dont even know where to start, other than please scroll past this hotel if your looking for somewhere to stay! We booked a family room, and i quote: 'Room Quadruple Room, Private Bathroom (Family of 4) ' What we actually got for our 6 year old girl, was a separate room to ours, with its own room number and key, in a shared corridor. We literally dropped our bags off on check in at 6:30pm, and headed off out. On reflection and rather amazed at what we'd been given we went back to the hotel at 8:30pm, no sign of the owner whatsoever, not that you could have found her in the non-lit pitch black car parking area / driveway. So we checked ourselves out, by leaving the keys at the door and writing a note on the pad at the entrance. On calling ******* today for refund, the owner refused (even though we never actually stayed there), saying she explained what we had been given ... oh thats ok then i guess. Avoid like the plague is all i can say.

We had a lovely meal with fantastic service! It's reasonably priced with a wide range of decent pints. We will definitely be returning.

This is an old farmhouse, run by a charming old couple. The rooms are basic and very small, the wash/ shower area in the room we stayed in was inside half a wardrobe, rather cramped. The stairs were rather steep, not good if you have a knee problem as the handrail comes very close to the wall so not a lot to hold onto. You can have use of the lounge and pool table if you want to. There are stables with horses in also. The delightful bit is the superb breakfast cooked by the lady of the house, she is also good at giving some ideas on what to see in the area.

Horrendously small old bathroom!!! Spiders in room, tiny room not that clean but bathroom totally unacceptable. We left! Sadly didn’t take photos. Pictures do not show what bathrooms are like and the bedroom was nowhere like the photos. Very disappointing

Location is just off the roundabout as you drive into the village of Upton. Allow ~15 mins to walk into Upton on very good pavements. You have to realize this is a working farm and therefore rustic in quality and appearance. Our room was small but functional and breakfast was good.

We found Bluebell farm cosy and welcoming. We only stayed one night as we had a family wedding at Deer Park weddings. Janet was very accommodating, and our rooms were comfy the toilet and bathroom were opposite our rooms just across the corridor. Breakfast was good and Janet also kindly let us check in early due to us attending a wedding in the area.

Thank you Janet and Bill for a welcoming stay. Perfect for what we required for a great price. Unfortunately we didn't catch any fish but we will stay with you again when we are back to try again. Dave and Martin.
