The rooms could use a update. The pull out coach was falling apart. Didnt like how they do breakfast boxes

Great check in, super friendly fella at desk. Fast breakfast box delivery. Beautiful view, right on the water. Easy access and not far from downtown.

Bay view room was spectacular. Clean, nice inn right on the water. Great ice machine . I love how they do the complimentary breakfast. Order the night before from a menu card. The next morning it is delivered to you at the time you request. Winter rates are amazingly inexpensive. Laundry and indoor pool too.

The hotel is very clean and on a beautiful part of the beach. We always enjoy our stay. There are a few quirks to be aware of, though, that we didn’tknow until after we booked and/or arrived: boxed breakfasts with choices that aren't precise, and only 1 box per guest; you must pick up pool towels at the front desk; the door to the fitness room only opens to the outside--no inside entry.

loved the balcony and view. Beds were really comfortable. Bathtub was a hit. Everything was very clean. Breakfast boxes were just adequate. I think we would skip them next time and go to one of the many restaurants close by.

Evening staff was always pleasant. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Was not happy with all the kids in the hot tub.

Place was quiet, clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were lovely. Staff was extremely accommodating. All around a pleasant experience. Shout out to Thomas!

The balconies are gorgeous overlooking the sugar sand beach. The hotel room itself was really nice and updated. Loved that it has a fridge and microwave! A perfect escape and very reasonably priced for the winter.

Very beautiful property on the Sandy beach. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Nice big rooms. Breakfast box delivered to our door in the morning was like the cherry on the milkshake.

Our stay was uncomfortable due to when we first arrived. We had previously stayed at this hotel and it was wonderful. This time, we immediately noticed the lack of care to cleanliness in the hallway with dirt, crumbs, water bottle caps on the hallway floor. Upon getting into our room (in the evening) we had a lot of ants all over the bathroom floor. There was something sticky on the floor and clearly it had been overlooked and not moped or cleaned up. We called and the staff came to clean it up. Then we noticed the refrigerator still had Chinese food in it from a previous guest. We asked for a trash bag to take it out and throw it away on our own. As I pulled the sheets back, I noticed they had not been changed from the previous guests. There was dried blood and bodily fluids on the sheets. I let them know immediately and they came to the room to put clean sheets on the bed. The next sheets were clean but I had to wait about 30 mins to get to bed. The patio table had (probably still has) a nasty coffee drink with mold and cigarette buds sitting on it. We let the staff know and they never picked it up. After all of this, we both slept terrible for the 3 nights we were there because we knew that our room had not been cleaned and there was a lack of care. When we let the staff know, they made excuses and told us they could not discount our room because we booked through *******. They offered us snacks and drinks from their little store. All we wanted was a clean room.

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the water. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Room was nice, bed was comfy. Liked frig, micro and coffee pot but coffee choice was awful. Went down to lobby for pod coffee that was good. Pool was nice but jacuzzi ladder was like a boat ladder with narrow slats, straight down and the last step down into water was a doozy! Accident waiting to happen! Shower hose was hooked up inches away from water fountain and short hose. Yuck! Lots of kids and people in pool area. Counted 40. Didn't go back next day. Food left on tables. Food in drinking fountain. Parking areas were very narrow. Probably good for price we paid @$118.00 for families but we will not be returning. We are 70 yrs. old. Boxed breakfasts included were ok. Good for kids. We went on a Fri and Sat night in Feb. Disappointed in our pool trip.

I loved my stay! The room was clean. The hotel was full but I never shared the elevator with anyone. I appreciated that the buildings were connected by a skywalk so I didn’t freeze (February) on my way to the immaculate pool and hot tub. The staff was courteous and helpful. I even sat out on the room’s beautiful balcony for a few minutes (again, it was February in Northern Michigan)!
