What an absolute delight to find in East London for the price. The room was huge, super clean but best of all was the service! Kyra was simply amazing, the hospitality was incredible and our only regret is that we didnt get to stay longer. Thank you Kyra and Hathways for making our very short trip so memorable! Highly, highly recommended!

Thank you to Hathaway Guest House for an amazing rest holiday. We had an absolute amazing stay, the best, yummy dinner and breakfast , and all staff were so friendly and helpful. They have fridges and microwaves in each room, and beautiful ocean views with balconies from their suites. The rooms are super clean, very comfortable beds and it’s a tranquil hide away. Thank you to Kyra and Hathaway team for the best holiday ever.

For the value you pay for the stay it could have been so much better! The room was nice, bed very comfortable, Breakfast was average, WIfi VERY good. Roof fan is amazing! Second night stay a lot more pleasant than the 1st evening. Lots can be improved in the rooms i.e. milk for guests to have coffee with, there were no hair dryer in our room, no cloth to wipe counter tops with, breakfast table only 2 pepper on no salt. If you used the salt that was on the counter - it was filthy and clogged. The pool were very dirty. There were HOT days when we stayed there and could have used the pool in the afternoons but the condition of it was not good at all.

The bedding was very clean and the mattress were extremely comfortable. There was a lovely view of the town and a nice peek of the ocean. This staff was very nice and made sure our stay was very comfortable. I truly enjoyed staying at this facility.

Great place that could do with some improvements, like having a contact telephone at the room in case of an emergency, not enough towels at the room, locking not satisfactory, water going through the shower floor,no soap or liquid at the shower.

A very comfortable, up-market guest house, conveniently situated on Bunkers Hill in East london. Rooms extremely comfortable & well appointed, with the beds & linen being first class. Friendly & helpful staff made the stay very special

My partner and I were looking for something exactly like this. A little heaven that is also Central. The staff was extra helpful and very kind. Also got a free upgrade choice!!! Definitely coming back 🙌🏾❤️

Very lovely Stuff with Kyra. She takes care when something is not as expected. The rooms a really nice with a lot of space. The hotel have a pool area where you also can have a Braai. When you need wood or something you can tell it to Kyra or Tylor and they will organize it. I stayed the a few times for 4 weeks and more and it was all the time a pleasure to stay there.
