I stayed in hotel room 104 and I was absolutely disgusted. •Dirty dishes with food still on them •Drinking glasses (wine glasses in particular) had greasy finger marks and lipstick marks. •Dryer didn’t work •Bedroom had no TV •Fridge cupboard door broken off. •Calcium build up in bathroom and really bad water pressure in shower.

Room only surface cleaned. Dust and bugs on most surfaces. One lift not sufficient for the building and it wasn’t working on our departure so we had to carry luggage down 6 flights of stairs.

the property was ok .. But the air con on the balcony made sitting outside impossible as it threw out too much heat .. The smell from the rubbish room was disgusting .. Not enough plates and knives and forks as well as pots and pans ..

This accommodation advertised free Wifi. But it was only available in the reception area. This should be notable on the website and booking confirmation

Worst property in Mackay. Check in woeful. Lucky to be able to get key to room. Room fairly average.

The property is in an out of the way location but has views of a nature reserve and it is very quiet. Works out if you have a car.

I chose that hotel because of the close proximity to the sea and expected a nice hotel as it looked on the photos. When we arrived at the hotel it was a few minutes before the reception closed for the day. It turned out the hotel was in a residential area without any shops. The window in the very small room was about 1.90m abve the ground and about 50 cm high, there was no chance to look out the window. As the reception was already closed there was no chance to rectify this situation. The off street parking was very full so we had to park in the street. The hotel had 8 floors but only one lift. Very very unsafe. There was a cushion in the bed with a zip sticking out. It gave me two 4cm long scratches in the sleep which resulting with strong bleeding around my ellbow for about 15-20 min. This woke me up in the middle of the night. Evidence was also blood on the sheet and pillow. I normally would expect some compensation for this unpleasant experience.

Property was expensive yet wasn’t particularly clean, beds were old and uncomfortable, screen door was broken, there was no weather ***** on the front door which meant the wind was howling through the apartment all day and night. Receptionist was also a little bit rude. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the price.

We were told when we made the booking that there were builders on the roof(and will be for three weeks) we checked in around 2pm (agin weren’t told) and had to listen until 5pm to hammering drilling and footsteps while trying to work. They’ve returned at 0630am!!!! I can’t work while all that’s going on. Aircon in bedroom but working either and no one to call. I’d like a refund!
