I reserved wheelchair-accessible room weeks in advance and was told when we arrived that the room had been blocked. After 45 minutes and two phone calls with the manager, I finally had to settle for a regular room. People with mobility issues need the bars to assist in sitting and standing. I was told by the clerk who was repeating a solution from the manager, "If I needed to use the restroom in the middle of the night, wheel my chair to the elevator, go down 2 floors, find the pool, and use the handicap stall there." He should have said, "I'm sorry we're unable to accommodate you at this time may I suggest one of our sister hotels or could you use a regular room?" The staff needs more training on the computer and on how to treat people with mobility issues. I was more than annoyed and embarrassed by a clerk who was polite and doing his best, but insensitive
