Hotel was perfect no issues ! Perfect for overnight or multiple day stay! Nice central location to everything like grocery store , target , food places , auto shops and pharmacy!

Overall it was ok, location was not close to restaurants. Nature lovers will like it.

I’ve been staying here regularly for several years. Recently however, under new management, the place has taken a serious turn for the worse. Rooms remain the same however they aren’t cleaned regularly, soap shampoo towels etc are not kept up. Outside of the room the breakfast has become poor. They run out of things frequently and the choices have become less and less. Other areas such as the gym and the laundry area are not kept up. There are no gym towels. The equipment isn’t kept up. The laundry area has become a dump. The machines are broken and not repaired quickly. In summary the new management appears to be cutting costs. What was once a nice little place to stay has seriously declined.

When you walk in it looks nice. However , the rooms are dated. The HVAC system sounds like a jet engine. Couch was uncomfortable to sit on. One Front desk manager was not helpful or friendly. another one was very nice. They didn't answer the phone when I called from my room for something. Barking dog in the next room. Place needs to be renovated. Expensive.

The room was comfortable, especially the beds. We always check the room for cleanliness, it was generally clean and tidy except for the shower head, it had some black film/crud on it. The bathroom room vanity had some dirt and dust on the floor side. If housekeeping took care of those items, especially disinfect and scrub the shower head, it would be great. The breakfast was ok, the eggs were premade, everything else was good. The hotel offered a small dinner buffet but we did not eat any. It was nice to have that as a choice. We did not take advantage of any other amenities, we stayed at the beach all day, so we do not have an opinion on anything else. Jayla was very attentive, making sure our stay was comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay and we would stay again. It was only 10 mins to the beach and was reasonably priced. There was one pet peeve, my husband being disabled, he needed a closer parking spot, someone with no HANDICAP PLATES OR DISPLAY parked in a handicap spot, I told the front desk and the CS rep said there was nothing she could do. So that means the sign with the penalty means nothing.

I booked our hotel room block at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Eatontown. I have to say Jeni was SUPER helpful in every way! She answered any questions I had and responded to all my emails quickly! She helped coordinate our trolley to our venue and scooped out the best bridal suite for my girls and I to get ready in. Overall a great experience, especially as our wedding was over labor day weekend and rates were high! 10/10 recommend staying here as it's a quick drive to Asbury and beach life.

I wonder where all the complaints are truly coming from. I stayed here for a few days with my family for our jersey shore vacation and we thought it was wonderful! We stayed in a two bedroom king suite that was very clean and quiet. We thought the staff was very pleasant and never got the sense that there was anything with which to be concerned about. The hotel was very close to several dining options and retail locations and was a 15 minute drive at most to the Asbury Park Beach. Very convenient. I do want to be honest- I don't understand why the bathroom sink area in these suite rooms do not have some sort of privacy curtain or door. It does not make much sense to me. Do people enjoy being looked at while they are applying creams or brushing their teeth? I would suggest that management do what Disney World has done, i.e., set up a rod with a curtain at the very least. I will also admit that the rooms could use a refresh but that is in my mind a very nitpicky complaint. Everything was great!

I stayed at the Homewood Suites this past weekend as I was working with a wedding group and I cannot be more impressed with their service. From the way that they handled the room blocks, to welcome boxes to check in on multiple rooms—they made all aspects of the planning to our stay incredibly seamless. The front desk staff upon our arrival was also incredible kind and helpful. They made sure that we felt taken care of throughout our stay. Can’t thank them or recommend them enough!

We were there for a cheer competition that our granddaughter was in. The hotel was easy to access. The room was very roomy. Comfortable and immaculate! The breakfast was excellent. My only wish was that I was staying longer!! Wonderful hotel and staff!!

Service was amazing and very accommodating with our large group. Juana and the team went above and beyond to provide our group with the best accommodations! Everything was clean, updated, and the food was great. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

This hotel was pleasant and clean. The reason for my two star review is based on a bizarre experience I had when the toilet in our room got stuffed at 6:30 AM. I went to the front desk and was informed that not only was there no maintenance worker there but that the maintenance worker apparently takes the key to the maintenance closet home with him at night so they couldn’t even access a plunger. He was supposed to come in at 7AM. Spoiler alert- he did not come at 7AM and we were not able to be provided with any assistance until 8:15 aside from being helpfully told that there was a public bathroom in the lobby. At 8:15 AM we got a knock at the door and the desk clerk handed us a plunger. What could have been an overall great experience was colored by this stressful and uncomfortable few hours.

This was our fourth trip to Homewood Suites within one year. We traveled to the area for a medical procedure and stayed a week afterward each time. We found the hotel convenient to everything we needed. The room was comfortable, and the hotel was clean. There are a few updates needed such as carpet in the room and the couch needs replaced. They are not unacceptable but are getting worn. The breakfast buffet has options for everyone. We have had the best experience with the customer service at the hotel. Our initial stay we were fortunate enough to get Jeni when calling to discuss our reservation. We had questions about the accessibility to the room and the room amenities due to recuperation from surgery. She made sure that our needs were met and went above and beyond taking the time to check to see how everything was going for us. We had contact with her each visit and she was always so accommodating and helpful. Homewood is lucky to have her there creating such a good impression on guests, you don't find that everywhere.

Although I agree with the many people who felt the staff was helpful and pleasant, I think Homewood Suites has gone downhill a lot since Covid, and wonder whether they’re using Covid as an excuse to give poor service. I realize we stayed during a holiday, and that the hotel might be short on cleaning service people, but we were told when we arrived, on a Sunday, Christmas Eve, that room cleaning days were Monday and Thursday, but since Monday was Christmas, the room wouldn’t be cleaned—at all. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired—obviously most of it is brought in frozen, microwaved in the kitchen, and put in the steam trays. They used to have decent oatmeal, but this time it was just a sticky glob. But the most appalling feature of the breakfast service is that everything is paper and plastic. Single-use plastic spoons, knives and forks, each one wrapped in a single-use plastic bag. These things are NOT recyclable. Styrofoam plates, paper cups. Both before and after Hilton took over this place, they used to have real plates, coffee cups and cutlery. Hasn’t Hilton heard that our country is drowning in plastic, that all of us have plastic in our bloodstream, that we are killing birds and sea life with all this? All that said, I do like having my own kitchen, and it is a convenient place for us to stay when we visit my daughter, although the gym isn’t great. If I stay there again, I will take my own plate and cup down to the breakfast room. However, I’m hoping the Residence Inn in Neptune will finish their pool and gym repairs before we go down to New Jersey again.
