麥闊特邁爾公寓酒店(My-Quartermile Apartments Edinburgh)

I have stayed all over the World in over 35 different countries, and Marc, the owner, provided the WORST service I have ever experienced at any stay anywhere...Ever! Marc is a horrific person who couldn't care less about you, your experience, or your special events. DO NOT EVER stay here. We stayed here this Summer and he is a liar, fraudulent, belligerent and abusive. He turned our special event into a horrific experience. I saw that some people on here said he was accommodating, so maybe Marc treated us horribly at check in after he saw my wife was Asian? This is just a guess because why else would he treat guests so horribly from check-in all the way through the stay. Either way all I can say is he is a vile person who should not be in the hospitality industry. BTW, I have seen others who have also said they think he is racist, so I am not alone in this feeling.

Everything looked completely different, was dirty and just disappointing. Food was old and the stuff were so rude for no reason! Treated a disabled family like trash, couldn't talk to anybody, worst customer service ever! We were hoping for nice vacation but instead got lots of disappointment and stress!

We booked a penthouse apartment in Edinburgh. We were met by a lovely woman who took us to the apartment at Simpson Loan. At first view the apartment looked really impressive. But We were then told not to use the patio door too much as it was likely to jump off the rails. Also there was a cracked window. The apartment was approx 25 degs and was told the air con wasn’t working but there was a fan in the main bedroom. This room had a bed that was very uncomfortable Aand sagged badly in the centre. The downstairs bedrooms were so hot that my daughters makeup melted in the bag. The kitchen area was of a good standard but a cracked cupboard door and two dirty cups in the cupboard made us very wary. Also there was food in the freezer left by previous tenants. The view from the patio was amazing but we were very apprehensive when out there incase the door came off the rail. Overall we had a good stay but not really sure if we would return.

I would highly recommend these apartments. We stayed in a 2 bed executive apartment. It was gorgeous. Really spacious and plenty big enough for our family of 4. The views were spectacular. The kitchen was great and 2 bathrooms was amazing. A short distance walk into the city centre so really ideally located. Beautiful gardens with wild rabbits running about. A lift was great as we were on the 3rd floor. A dishwasher and tea, coffee etc was a real bonus. Stay here if staying in Edinburgh - simple!

Had a really strange and worrying booking experience. Did not feel comfortable so chose to go elsewhere (forfeiting over £200). I had booked for 2 nights. Asked f I could extend for another night via the booking site and was told to send my email address and they would invoice me directly. They didn't get back to me so I called to check the extra night was still possible. I didn't recognise the company name when I called so asked quite politely who I was speaking to. Manager answered me rather aggressively along the lines of "who am I speaking to," said in a condescending manner. This threw me a bit but I explained that I was looking for confirmation of a booking. He continued to speak to me rudely and agressively. I was in such a tizz by then that I told him I couldn't continue the call and would contact him by email. I went downstairs to tell my husband. At this point he called me back. I told him to speak to my husband. My husband took the call but he continued with the rudeness/mild aggression. We had a bad feeling about things so cancelled. Not sure what the issue is. I wouldn't feel comfortable going to these apartments. I see others have had similar issues.
