We were in room 4 or 5 -- a lovely, quiet room with comfortable furnishings and a private patio. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the 30 min walk to Old Town, but there's a bus stop right across the street. Lots of restaurants on the way into town (Southpour was my favorite, but also enjoyed Rigatoni's for Italian and Old Bell Inn for basic pub food and fun environment). Excellent breakfast.

Best breakfasts in Scotland! Jimmy and Fiona are fabulous. The room was lovely and comfortable. Beautiful facility. Convenient access to buses going downtown. Our interactions with Jimmy and Fiona made our stay special. We felt welcomed to Scotland and well cared for. We will always cherish the memories of our stay in the Glenalmond House!

We had a wonderful B&B experience here. Jimmy & Fiona were the perfect hosts. They were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, with lots of choices. The B&B was beautiful and elegant. Our garden room was the most pleasant one we had on our trip. The super clean bathroom had plenty of hooks to hang necessities, and a spacious shower. The Glenalmond House is located on a bus line, making transportation into the town center very convenient. There are also several nice restaurants nearby.

It's in a good location on the bus route making it easy to get into town. The room was on the small side. Jimmy was helpful and attentive. Breakfasts were good, with a nice choice of foods. USB ports for charging were helpful.

Glenalmond was perfect for our stay. It was only a 30min walk into the center of Edinburgh and the staff (especially Jimmy) were excellent.
