Stayed 2 nights, I called reception to clean up room when I leave, when I back to room at the night time, the room didn’t clean up:(

The property is starting to show it's age in the foyer. The chairs are dirty and stained. It has a dark feeling as you enter the hotel. Our room had a fantastic shower and the bed was pretty good but the room smelled like dogs. I am assuming that they gave us a room that had pets in it previously. The walls are paper thin and you hear everyone. There was a sports team there in the hotel and they ran around until the wee hours of the morning making it impossible to sleep because of the thin walls.

The complimentary breakfast was awful. There were 7 of us and not a single person was able to finish their meals. Ended up having toast. Wifi wouldn’t work. We were charged for movies we didn’t purchase and there were homeless people outside the hotel in the parking lot every day. One night our friends were woken up by a party in a close by room and a domestic dispute the following morning. When we arrived the check in RCMP were on site dealing with an issue as well. Only plus to this hotel was that it was close to the mall.

Squeaky Beds Not soo pleasant receptionist I realized on our last night while packing suitcases, there was a candy bag left by previous occupant in the room that was not thrown out by Hskpng when they cleaned the room (very end top of the closet shelf)

Customer service was excellent. Tanya is the best. I was going for Spine surgery the next morning and I needed more pillows for my comfort and she got them for me. I was fasting so I didn't have breakfast, my husband wasn't very impressed, usually breakfast is tasty but he said this time it was bland....maybe this was just a one off issue. I love this hotel location.

Most honest review. Checked in Jan 14 when it was -38 outside and everything was going great until I got into my room to find someone had left the AC unit on and it was 14c in the room. It took 4 hours to warm up the room to 23. When I approached the front desk person they were very passive about it and said they would pass on the information to the maintenance crew?? No offer to move rooms, no "I'm sorry here is a blanket" given my kids were already settled and I had ordered pizza. we just left it as is. beside that, everyone else was friendly and the place was in great condition. Probably the best morning breakfast I've had at a hotel.

My brother-in-law was released from the hospital at 10:30 at night, after a day surgery. He had not eaten for 24 hours. The staff at the hotel when and got him apples, oranges and bananas. Very caring staff members.

Place was great! Definitely awesome for the family. The breakfast was not good tho. They can update that for sure
