埃德蒙頓威斯汀酒店(The Westin Edmonton)

Great central location with friendly staff. Room upgraded for free due to Marriott membership. Beds are very comfortable. TV has chromecast (took some time setting up). Shower water pressure a tad on the low side w/ water saving shower head. Parked at surface parking right beside the building ($35/night, underground parking available as well).

The location is great, beds are comfy and it is clean. However the overuse of room spray in the lobby smells like an overload of mens cologne and is nauseating. Check in was terrible as I had booked 2 rooms, they only had me down for one room and expected me to pay for the other room even though I had prepaid with ******* and had the email and confirmation and showed it to them. Finally another front desk clerk gave me another room and said they would clear it up with *******. Then when I got home they charged me 3 $50 charges that were posted to my Visa, not just held, for room incidentals and when I called they said there should have only been 2 ($50 for each room) and unsure why there were 3 but assured me they would come off in 3-35 business days and if they don't I'll have to call back. What a runaround! We usually stay at The Courtyard Marriott Downtown but thought we'd give this a try and I have to say, I will not stay here again.

-The onsite food options is disappointing, particularly the breakfast options ($33 for breakfast a la carte). Most Marriott hotels that I've stayed at offer a complimentary breakfast; I am now staying at the Fairfield hotel in Calgary, they offer this. -There is no room service option (?), there was no menu or instructions in the room that I saw. -The bathroom sink hot water was very limited, you have to run the water for about two minutes before it gets hot. Housekeeping was fine, although on day two they removed my face cloths for cleaning, but did not leave any behind. -I stayed for three nights, on my final night a letter was slipped under my door sometime between midnight to 5:00am, advising that if I checked out by 9:00am I would get a complimentary breakfast. That is a great offer, but the guests need to be told this before they go to bed so we can adjust our wake up time accordingly. I was already planning to leave by 9:00am, I would have gladly set my alarm earlier to accommodate the breakfast offer. Overall it was fine, but I probably will not stay there again.

The location was convenient and easily accessible. It is right across from the Edmonton Library, I encourage anyone to check it out! The staff at the Westin were very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Housekeeping was on top of it. Overall and strictly my opinion, it was one of the best experiences I've had with a hotel.

Booked a king size bed, room had a queen size bed. Tv was so slow and short of ram it was basically un-usable. Hotel is definitely dated and overpriced.

The room was dated and had a musty smell and was not adequately stocked with towels, robes etc.

Good service. Friendly happy hotel reception staff. Good food at restaurant
