泰晤士朗納梅德旅館(The Runnymede on Thames)

Quite frankly, by day 2 we had fallen in love with the place, all staff on all sections were brilliant. All facilities were clean, well maintained and up to spec. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, 2 saunas, ice plunge pool, tennis courts, orchard and children's play area. There is also archery, bike hire and even boat hire so you can have a little trip on the river. We didn't do breakfast but there is a lovely little coffee bar with pastries and for the evening meal the main restaurant operates a buffet style with about 30 options so you could try a little bit of everything. The quality of the food was also very good. Finally I'll just mention that my partner enjoyed a couple of treatments at the spa and said her experience was superb. Thanks also to trip.com for offering an excellent room rate.

The hotel charged guests 50 GBP for checkout at 12:30! Despite bills paid in advance and notified front desk of leaving at noon time next day ！

Room dated , cracked ceiling, wall paper coming off the wall . Service was shocking in the bar area . Not worth the money .

Food service is poor Spa is full Not too clean

Hotel is nice, lots of technical issues caused delay in checking in. Appreciate there are works going on so some of the soa rooms were relocated to the first floor where our rooms were. Whole place looks like it needs an upgrade, carpets were shabby, lights in hall didn't work, when we arrived there were bottles in the hallway (from guests or cleaners- not sure!) Bathrooms need to be replaced as we had leaky taps but shower was nice. Bed was super comfy! We went to the spa twice and it was nice and clean although not a full facilty (best for a coiple of hours not a day trip), staff are great. Pool and jacuzzi were very nice. Liked the sauna and plunge pool in the dressing rooms. Breakfast staff were fabulous and there was lots of variety.

It was a cute place. Disappointed that a place this nice didn’t have room service. Also we were on the 2nd floor in room 253 and we were woken up at 9am by some sort of construction drilling. They should wait until after check out at 11.

Location was fab. Pleasant hotel with some wear showing (bathroom sealant coming away / unit doors not fitting). No food available after 10pm was disappointing. They charge an uplift (have Pre agreed rates) for local taxis so use Uber - it’s cheaper.

Hard to believe, but there is no room service! It is not possible to have just the bedside lights on. So when you want to sleep you have to get out of bed and walk to the door to switch off the rest of the lights. When they are switched off the bedside lights can’t be switched on. The food is bad and overpriced.

Had the most amazing time at the Runnymede hotel - it was our third time and has never disappointed. Beautiful grounds on the river where you can sit and watch the boats go past, lovely spa, lovely restaurants, brilliant service, everything you could want really!
