Eine wundervoll gelegene ursprüngliche Safari Lodge im Kruger Nationalpark. Elefanten beim Abendessen, Giraffen zum Morning Drive Kaffee, Frühstück im Busch und Abendessen am Lagerfeuer- hier kommt echtes Afrikafeeling auf! Der Staff ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und herzlich! Ganz besonders unser Guide PATRICK hat Unsinn seinem umfassenden Wissen über die Pflanzen- und Tierwelt beeindruckt. Mit Witz und Charme brachte er uns die Geheimnisse Afrika‘s näher und gab uns das Gefühl, Teil einer Familie zu sein….. Danke!!!

Tutto. Soggiorno splendido, perfettamente organizzato, con tante accortezze da non aver bisogno di pensare a niente, se non godersi l’esperienza. Uno dei punti di forza è sicuramente la pozza (african tv) dove ad ogni ora del giorno e della notte vengono ad abbeverarsi gli animali, una sera abbiamo addirittura visto il leopardo. Staff premuroso ed amichevole, stanze (6 tipiche rodavels) rifatte la mattina e rassettate anche la sera. Nota di merito alla nostra guida Suitboy, preparato, simpatico e puntuale. Ci ha spiegato tante cose sugli animali che abbiamo visto, ad ogni uscita abbiamo incontrato leoni e leopardi, anche a breve distanza. Conosce la zona ed è molto esperto. Cucina ottima e bevande incluse di qualità. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare.

Traumhafte, kleine Lodge! Die Lodge waren sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr schön! Alles sehr sauber! Tolle Terrasse mit Blick zur Wasserstelle, wo man Elefanten, Zebras, …. Und sogar einen Leoparden sehen kann! Sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Essen und gute Weine! Die Gamedrives waren Spitzenklasse!

From being picked up at the tiny Skukuza airport in a safari jeep to get to Jock safari lodge, we did not know how the experience could get any better. We saw elephants, crocodile and Giraffe (to name a few) and that was just the start. The lodge is fantastic, very beautiful rooms setup perfectly for relaxation between game drives. However, it is the wonderful staff that make the experience truly special. You really feel the passion to make the guests stay perfect. I’ve never experienced a stay like this and we are already planning to come back.

We came to Jock as part of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! The main jock lodge is fantastic - really cool aesthetic serving fantastic food and delicious wine. We are here in ‘winter’ although it was warm it wasn’t quite warm enough for jumping in the pool which looked so inviting. You can sit on the deck and take in fantastic views of the riverbed . We were lucky enough to see herds of giraffe and impala animal while having a drink which was a great experience! The staff in the lodge provided a 5 star level of service. The accommodation was next level tranquility. Beautifully decorated with a tent at the end of the deck for sleeping under the stars. It was a truly relaxing experience fit for a honeymoon. Safari itself was a truly amazing experience. The rangers work so hard to find and animals and yet remain respectful of them in their environments. He was incredibly knowledgable of the animals and the landscape. Our guide Jan also helped us make the most of our experience by taking us out for extra time to find what we really wanted to see. We were lucky enough to see all of the big 5!

Untidy rooms, disgusting old pool mattrasses, musty smell in room, algae pool, unprofessional service (taking plates while eating), sour coffee (at a 5 star hotel i expect to get portafilter coffee with vegan milk options and good foam quality), they always brought the old/used butter from someone elses breakfast to the table, unorganised check out, every seating cushion on every chair in the main area is dirty, breakfast options seems to be fallen out if time, and they lack all the small bits and pieces that usually make you happy in a 5 star hotel. Our Ranger Ike was worth a five star hotel. He made us see the big 5.

Wir haben es geliebt ... wie könnte man auch nicht? Die Lodge ist eine Oase der Ruhe inmitten des Kruger Parks. Die Ausstattung, das Essen, die extrem freundlichen Mitarbeiter, ein echter Ort zum Runterkommen. Bei den Gamedrives sind max. sechs Gäste dabei, so dass jeder optimale Sicht hat. Und falls mal aufgrund der holprigen Straßen der Rücken schmerzt, bitte unbedingt eine Massage buchen. Das beleuchtete Wasserloch ist die Kirsche auf der Torte. Selten haben wir in einer anderen Lodge so viele unterschiedliche Tiere am Wasserloch gesehen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

我們非常喜歡參觀旅館。房間佈置精美且非常舒適。每餐都準備得很精美，味道也很棒。嘗試所有的好東西幾乎是不可能的。很棒的美食！工作人員很熱情，滿足每一個願望。狩獵之旅同樣令人印象深刻。一位很棒的導遊，早上提供熱水瓶和毯子，還有內容豐富的聊天。每次旅行都是新的體驗，我們看到了數量驚人的動物。旅館還讓您有機會在水坑中發現動物。我們的亮點是一隻長頸鹿，它經常睡在旅館的入口處。我們絕對推薦Hoyo Hoyo Lodge，度過了一段美好的時光。我們很樂意回到這個溫暖而熟悉的小旅館！感謝您提供的優質住宿！

Wir waren im Rahmen unserer selbst organisierten Rundreise u.a. in der Hoyo Hoyo Lodge. Im großen und ganzen ist diese gut, etwas abgewohnt , das macht jedoch die Lage und die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten wieder wett. Allerdings muss an so manchem Service noch gearbeitet werden :-) Wir wurden auf der Abendpirsch vom starken Regen überrascht- ok. Jedoch mussten wir die Regenponchos im Jeep ausziehen und und durften die nach Rückfrage nicht bis zu unserer Unterkunft behalten. Wir mussten im starken Regen warten bis wir zu unseren Häusern geführt wurden. Statt dass der Angestellte dann einen extra Schirm mitbringt hatte er nur seinen eigenen und wir mussten pitsche paschte nass in unsere Unterkunft rennen. Zumal man überrascht war, dass wir nicht sofort zum Abendessen gehen wollten, sondern uns nur noch kurz trocknen wollten. Kann man lustig sehen, jedoch sollte man in Zukunft auf diesen Gästeservice doch schon achten. Unser Guide (kein Rancher) auf der jeweiligen Pirschfahrt war gewöhnungsbedürftig und bei fragen zu so manchem Tier haben wir ein I-pad bekommen zum nachlesen. Dafür hat er sich als Schullehrer aufgeführt und abgefragt wie z.B. eine Zebraherde heißt und wollte nicht weiterfahren bis jemand dies weiß. Kann man auch lustig sehen, es nervt nur wenn es die ganze Zeit so ist und immer wieder. Haben wir halt schon anders erlebt und haben verglichen. Ansonsten haben wir auf diesen fahren nicht mehr Tiere gesehen als als Selbstfahrer durch den Krüger Park. Super ist jedoch die Aussicht von der Terrasse / Pool auf das gegenüberliegende Wasserloch . Dort tummeln sich Herde von Elefanten, Affen, Impalas u.a. Das Essen /Getränke war wirklich sehr gut.

11月23日之後，6月24日我們第二次去Hoyo Hoyo，再次激動不已。安靜、僻靜的私人**位置，沒有克魯格的喧囂。小旅館（只有 6 間小屋，最多可入住 12 位房客）。 佈置時尚、寬敞的小木屋。所有員工都提供優質、周到的服務和熱情的款待。食物品質優良（早餐、午餐、NaMi 小吃、晚餐）。經驗豐富且非常稱職的導遊提供良好的遊戲驅動器（沒有“五巨頭狩獵”，您可以花時間做所有事情）。此外，從小屋的小水坑處的甲板上可以不斷觀察到動物（例如，這次有很多大象，但也有斑馬、黑斑羚、角馬、疣豬、鬣狗）。 總而言之，只是為了享受。我們一定會回來的！

Nous arrivons d'un séjour a ce magnifique lodge, c'était tous simplement incroyable. Notre guide Jay était passionné et a l'écoute de nos attentes. Le personnelles du lodge toujours souriants et attentif. Les repas était copieux et délicieux.

We arriveerden in de lodge op onze trouwdag. Voor deze gelegenheid werd onze tafel voor het diner speciaal gedekt, apart van de andere gasten, en we kregen een fles champagne, zo attent! Het personeel deed er alles aan om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het eten was heerlijk, het ontbijt zeer uitgebreid. De game drives met Andrew waren zeer de moeite waard, we zagen in twee dagen de big five. De huisjes zijn niet groot, maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanaf het terras heb je een fantastisch zicht op de olifanten, impala's en andere dieren die naar de drinkplaats kwamen.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The whole lodge and the room seemed old and poorly maintained. The wooden fence near the outdoor shower was damaged, we could see people beyond from the shower and people could see us in the shower. The sink was leaking because of the incorrect distance between the faucet and the basin (see attached photo). When we arrived, nobody helped us with the luggages, we had to carry our luggages by ourselves. Nobody made up our room in the morning during the safari (in other hotels it happened) and nobody filled the bottles of drinking water in the room. In the evening, at 10 to 7 pm we came back from the safari and we needed to go to our room to change our clothes before dinner (by then it was cold) but the staff told us that the return to the room was not planned and that they had some blankets for us for dinner. We asked again and then we could go 5 minutes to the room between safari and dinner. Staff is friendly but hasty. Good lunch and dinner but lack of choice and not abundant portions. Poor breakfast. Funny safari but a bit hasty, few explanations and little involvment of participants. Unfortunately we did not find the boasted luxury; the payed price is absolutely not in line with the offer.
