Great place like the stay

Was good

Rooms were nice, quiet and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Pool was on the small side. Hotel is in a great location with easy parking

We had an extraordinary 3 days 2 nights Shavuot experience, everyone enjoyed every moment. Warm welcome, courtesy, professional service! Clean and equipped rooms The children enjoyed the pools and the facilities, and we all enjoyed the food at a very high level. We got the feeling of VIP guests Many thanks to the reception staff and hotel management, we feel that they are making an effort to provide an exceptional service experience.

Очень плохо: нет тапочек, нет горячей воды в душе ( максимум 30-32 градуса). В кране для умывания вода есть. Нет шторы в душе. В воде весь санузел! Ждали минут 15, надеялись, что пойдет горячая вода. В результате, мокрое все! Вместо шкафа для одежды стеллаж без отделения, где есть вешалки. Не колько открытых полок. Дверь в санузел до конца не закрывается! Очень плохо!

Nourriture nourriture, excellente chambre, top la nourriture, un choix incroyable, petit-déjeuner, excellent Y toutes sortes sucrées,salle devant la piscine un choix remarquable, personnel, sympa du petit déjeuner. Bien sûr.

Décevant , hôtel vieillot, oublier les photos du site , chambre poussiéreuses, mal entretenues agencement très vieux et pas propres , nous avons réservé une catégorie supérieure, j imagine les standards 😞😩 bref c est une déception bruit à la piscine impossible de lire ou de se reposer

Bel hôtel mais entretien laisse vraiment à désirer. Sale autour de la piscine , poubelles au sol, tables pas nettoyées et espace a l'ombre bains de soleil près du maître nageur semblable à une décharge. On ne peut pas s'y installer par manque d'hygiène. De plus le personnel est indifférent et pas agréable à part à la réception. Je pense que le directeur devrait enfin être plus exigeant pour le confort et le respect des clients car cela n'est pas à la hauteur de ce bel hôtel, dommage.

Bel hôtel mais manque d'entretien. Certaines tables sont sales et jamais nettoyées. Le personnel pourtant plutôt en nombre préfère être occupé sur leur téléphone portable ou discuter entre eux, si l'on a besoin de quelque chose on a l'impréssion de les déranger. Cela est certainement dû à un mauvais encadrement.

Orchid is very nice place for family vacation. There are pools for any children's age. In opposite, it might be unacceptable for disable or old people. Non standard solution. Fantastic breakfast, etc.

Horrible experience, Had bed bugs and got bitten all over. Worms and cockroaches in the rooms. We complained and the receptionist told us “well we are on a mountain and these things happen”….. Both of our replacement rooms were in the same state. We didn’t even get half off our stay.

This isn’t a 4 star hotel. Maybe 3 at best. The last time I was here was about 30 years ago and it is exactly the same as I remember it, which is to say the place clearly hasn’t been invested in or upgraded since. Stray cats absolutely everywhere, including sitting around reception and lounging on all the chairs at breakfast, really quite off putting especially if you don’t like cats. Rooms are fairly unappealing inside, lots of scuff marks everywhere and general wear and tear - and we had one of the more expensive lodges. The lodge we were in featured a vertiginous loft area for kids to sleep in that’s entirely unsafe for small children, given the almost vertical ladder you need to climb to get up there, surprised there haven’t been more accidents. Cleaning service is pretty appalling - we were there for a week and the sheets were not changed at all, despite requesting it multiple times. Baths are tiny and don’t have proper plugs, just a sort of disc that goes over the hole but doesn’t fully cover it, so it’s useless. Breakfast and dinner looks appealing as the buffet is wide ranging but the food was often greasy and under seasoned, and I couldn’t help but notice that people tended to stick their fingers into it to grab what they wanted when they were passing by. More seriously, the behaviour of the staff around the dining room was some of the worst I’ve encountered at any hotel, let alone one purporting to be a 4 star establishment. It goes beyond the slightly blunt Israeli style, and my large party, most of whom live in Israel, were quite appalled. This included shouting at one of our group for sitting waiting at a table at breakfast for the rest of us to arrive, no attempts to come up with solutions for our large party at dinner when we’d booked a table ahead of time and they’d clearly overbooked the hotel, rudeness when we’d booked a tuk tuk for a specific time and they’d got the time wrong, and so treated me like I had taken leave of my senses…the list goes on. This was partly due to the hotel clearly overbooking itself, and not having enough space to accommodate all guests for meals, which made most evenings very uncomfortable. One of the only members of staff I encountered who was brilliant was Alon, the very popular and charming omelette guy at breakfast who makes them to your specification.

The location is excellent, and quiet, and allows you to rest from the tourist scene of the city. However, cell phone communication was difficult. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The gallery floor is perfect for children. The half board allowed us to relax and rest, and the food was good. In terms of general cleanliness, the hotel has room for improvement, but overall, the experience was good and successful.

The hotel is Ok, the room was fine. Clean enough, the atmosphere is nice and as we expected. However, the staff was really unwelcoming, and wasn't really keen to offer service. I was ignored several times at the front desk and was shocked by the way the staff (even the manager) talks to other guests. It was a hectic time, and the guests were quite rude, but still... Also, the food at breakfast was not that high quality (except for the omelette station which was ok) and on the second day we found a cat eating from one of the cheese dishes on the top floor of the dining room... I'm all for the cats and everything, but still it ruined our appetite...
