Das whala!fun liegt am Hafen von El Arenal in einer der etwas ruhigeren Straßen. Das Hotelpersonal war durchweg freundlich, zuvorkommend und sprach sogar teilweise deutsch. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, doch stets sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Unser persönliches Highlight war die Dachterasse, die man Ende September fast ganz für sich alleine hat. Dort kann man prima den ganzen Tag verbringen, kann sich nach Belieben mit kühlen Getränken von der Bar oder einem kleinen Snack verwöhnen lassen. Die großzügigen Liegen und der Pool laden zum Entspannen ein und auch abends kann man dort noch einen Absacker trinken und den Tag gemütlich mit einem Blick auf den schönen Hafen ausklingen lassen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis konnte uns auch absolut überzeugen. Danke!

This is the 6th or 7th time I have stayed at the hotel. I used to go with a travel agency, now I go by myself. It is enough to agree with the owner of the hotel Jordi - a very nice and caring person. The hotel staff will always provide you with the necessary assistance and information. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but it has its own charm. Food choice is never a problem. Breakfasts are generally repetitive, but dinners are great. Many thanks to the chefs and waitresses. The room is always clean, clean towels every day. Air conditioning, refrigerator, internet in the room. You are paying for the price of a 3* hotel, so don't expect 4-5* hotel services. In general, the hotel is very quiet, few families with loud children travel. Sometimes - a little noisy company of young people, but they mostly come for 2-3 days in the summer holidays. The proximity is full of shops and restaurants, car, motorcycle, bicycle rentals, to the center of Palma 20-30 minutes by bus (No. 23, 25), to the airport 25 minutes by bus A2, to the beach 10-15 minutes on foot. The choice is yours, come and see for yourself.

We went for the all inclusive option and it made our experience so much more worth it! The food was delicious, and sangria on tap!! The room was cleaned every day and the beds were very comfortable.

It’s a 3 star hotel you get what you pay for if like is you used it as a place to get your head down then what is there to complain about? Yes the air con isn’t the best and the hotel slightly outdated but it serves its purpose. Food was average 3 star all inclusive, only ate breakfast and lunch a couple of times then ate our other occasions but this was always our plan. A good drinks selection, people complaining about the alcohol not being all inclusive need to realise this is resort wide and not just a hotel thing. Staff where friendly and quickly arranged a taxi too the airport for us which was there before we had even walked down the ramp from the hotel talk about quick service.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms smell bad, the noise is unbearable (if you chose this hotel, prepare to be woken up at 3am), and the staff is incredibly rude. We had booked this hotel for three nights, but because we couldn't sleep and because we actually felt unsafe (at 3am we were woken up by a group of drunk guys kicking our door), we chose to leave after the first night. When we complained about the situation, the receptionist told us that this was a hotel and if we wanted peace and quiet we should go to the hospital. Very rude! On top of that, the rooms have air conditioning that you can't use. You have to call the reception to ask them to turn on the AC and when it gets very cold (you can't set the temperature yourself), you have to call again. We didn't have a remote control for the TV and the lights in the room didn't work. If you have a choice between booking a room in this hotel or sleeping on the bench in the park, choose the park. I am sure it will be cleaner, safer and quieter.
