I always book a hotel for having a pool and hot tub. Was told on arrival that the pool closed at 10 and it would be open in the morning. The pool was closed my whole stay as there was something wrong with the pool and there was a weird film along the top. Was told the motor went out and if it ran for 4-8 hrs it would be good to go. Still wasn't functional over 36 hrs later. I get there are things that pop up, but they knew when we checked in that the pool was bad. They could have let people know that it was closed. We would have checked out after that first night amd went somewhere else. The room was nice and big. Ran out of milk at breakfast and asked about it, and they had none. Just would have been nice to have a bit more attention to details for the customers.

Pretty gross. The pool area needs a desperate update. Rusty old water fountain and other weird equipment sitting around. Bedding seemed clean. But everything is very dated. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Can hear our neighbor snoring through the walls. And down the hall someone having a very rowdy night.

We came to town to visit with family and spend the day in town. Looked forward to the jettes tub and it was perfect and bigger than I've seen at other places it also has an door to the parking lot from our room and patio. Great food spread for breakfast. We'll be back!

The room was nice and very clean. The bed was comfortable, I just wish hotels (this is not specific to this hotel) had better pillows. The price was great and it was convenient to downtown Galena.

Service was very good check in was fantastic the room was beautiful and the breakfast was very good. The pool certainly could have been warmer.

Needs updated. Curtains had tears the lock didn’t work properly on the door. You could definitely tell someone smoked in the room previously. The bed was hard. Breakfast was decent.

I have stayed here a few times and it’s a great affordable option for visiting all Galena has to offer

Most importantly it was clean! Convenient location. Breakfast very average, but free and included.
