We stayed for one night celebrating my husband's birthday. I wish we could've stayed another night! Quaint, charming Elsah B&B. The proprietor's, Calvin & Megan were so friendly and hospitable. The strawberry cake and breakfast were delicious!! Give them a try...you won't regret it!

Very comfortable, cute bed and breakfast! The owners made us feel right at home. They have a sweet treat every afternoon waiting for visitors—we enjoyed a piece of the triple chocolate Bundt cake. Breakfast was so very delicious too! After breakfast we even got a personal tour of the Elsah Museum—featuring the interesting history of the area. If we find ourselves in this area again, we would absolutely make reservations again!❤️

I had a wonderful stay at the Green Tree Inn. The room was lovely and Megan and Calvin were super hosts, friendly and generous. The setting was idyllic in the quiet hamlet of Elseh. I highly recommend and look forward to staying again!

Our last of 12 nights of an Illinois/Missouri adventure we stayed at The Green Tree Inn, a quaint bed and breakfast in a historic village. The new innkeepers, Calvin and Megan, were warm and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The access to soft drinks, coffee, tea, bottled water and afternoon/evening sweet treats in the common area was enjoyable. Breakfast was very good with lively conversation amongst the guests and innkeepers. Historical tidbits were shared. While staying at the Green Tree Inn make reservations to eat at State Street on LaSalle. The food and owners are wonderful. Everything about this last stop was fabulous and quickly became one of our favorites of the trip, great people, food and location. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful! Comforting! Welcoming! Delicious! Girlfriend trip here was so much fun. The owners were so wonderful and we will definitely return again…next time with our spouses.

You feel like you are back in the early 1900s, except for the comforts of home. Connie and Gary took great care of us and we enjoyed the conversation at breakfast and the food very much!
