消防站酒店(Das Spritzenhaus)

Nettes Hotel, sehr zentral und ruhig gelegen, sowohl zur Altstadt wie auch zum Bahnhof. Zimmer Nr. 5 mit großem Bad. Tolles Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten und eigenem Käse wunderbar am Tisch serviert. Freundliches Personal.

Zum einzigen Fenster des Zimmers Nr. 3 kommen sie nur über das Bett, da eine Betonsäule im Weg steht. Es läßt sich nur halb öffnen, dann stößt es an das Bettgestell. Auch ihre Knie stoßen an die Duschkabine, sollten sie die Toilette benutzen( bei einer Körpergröße von 1,70). Bei meiner Anreise am 27.06.22 konnte ich den anwesenden Mitarbeiter nur mit Engelszungen davon überzeugen mich einzulassen und das von meiner Freundin gebuchte Zimmer aufzuschließen. Sie hatte "meinen" Zimmerschlüssel dussligerweise an sich genommen und schon mal das Städtchen erkundet. Alles sehr unglücklich!! Leider macht das gute Frühstück, der freundliche und flexible Service diesen ersten Eindruck nicht wett. Der baumlose Platz vor dem Hotel wirkt übrigens wie ein Trichter, der sämtliche Geräusche verstärkt.

fantastisk service i dejligt “boutique” hotel

What a wonderful hotel. It was recommended by a local friend in Eltville for a long weekend. I was given the penthouse and it is just beautiful. It’s a huge room with the most amazing furniture and bathroom. It has the biggest sofa I’ve ever seen. Lots of different lighting to choose from and a long thin balcony with chairs and a table overlooking the square. There is a large wardrobe area which contained seat covers for the outside chairs as well as a couple of pairs of sunglasses and extra bedding etc. Lots of small attention to details. There is a small fridge in the room as well as a coffee machine. The bed is huge and very comfortable. There is a welcome brochure, I think, on the desk, it is only in German so if you cannot speak/read German, as I can’t, then you will have no idea what it says. Luckily the owners spoke great English, I did try my years old German but I failed miserably. The breakfast area on the ground floor is as lovely as the penthouse. I love the individually patterned chairs. The food is delicious. You are given some cheese which the owners produce themselves from their cows on the hills and locally produced meats. You can choose different styles of eggs. The eggs with herbs, cheese and tomatoes is definitely recommended and now a favourite of mine. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I was due to take a train to Frankfurt airport but they were all cancelled on the day. The owner phoned a few taxi firms and found someone he knew, Sammy, who was reasonable and also very friendly. They made that much easier for me. I recommend staying at this hotel and I’ll be back next year. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay.

My first time staying here but not my last🤩. Very atypical hotel - converted old firehouse in the heart of Eltville. But remodeled to one of the coolest, high tech, and very comfortable lodgings in walking distance to most city locations. Underground parking convenient and worth it. Small bistro in the entry level is great for the breakfast with cheeses and meats made by the Fam on their eco farm. Marc & his father are always available and very helpful. My tower suite was well worth the slightly higher room rate - and was a really unique & comfortable space for me. 12 meter long balcony overlooking the square was great👍. A little narrow but so nice in the late afternoon watching folks & furry friends walking through. I’d give them 6 stars if possible - Great job Marc🎉

The Spritzenhaus is a gem in the charming city of Eltville. The room was spacious and clean. The attention to detail and kind, personalized service by the owners made us feel special. It was a short, easy walk past half-timbered houses to the pedestrian area shops, the Rhine River, wine bars, and restaurants. There is much to explore in the town. We’ll be back, and look forward to staying at the Spritzenhaus again.

Room was small, bathroom very small, good for one person. Bed had a large pole next to it on the window side. You could not get out of bed on that side. The staff and breakfast made up for any room deficiencies. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order with very cheerful and helpful staff. Would stay again because of this.

Great location, beautiful town, well run, clean, and managed hotel. Room was spacious. Owner was friendly and accommodating with great service.
