Dalle foto sembra molto meglio di quello che è. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto scarso, abbiamo usato la suite che doveva essere dotata di vasca idromassaggio. La vasca c'era ma non funzionava e non c'era acqua calda. Bagno con finestre totalmente oscurate e non apribili, stanza con mobilio di qualità molto scarsa. Personale gentile, ma spesa non proporzinale ai servizi.

The place is very good, nice looking having good customer care service plus nice food and good accommodations. Thanks to somanshu verma the general manager for taking care of us and giving us a great service we will definitely come back thanks again

This place just beside the Victoria Lake. It has beautiful scenes with tasty fried fish!! We eat the fish, listening the sound of wave.It’s really a happy time there. Btw, the size of the fish is really large hhhhh, I try my best to finish it 😂😂

Excellent service. The ambience is great to hang out with family and friends. The food quality is top notch. Yummiest food served. The staff is so humble and polite. Best place to visit. Thank you for your best service.

Saffron Beach is such a good place to chill out for End of year annual outings. The gardens are so beautiful, we forgot to take pics at the Balcony the fish and chips tasted great✅And the boat cruise was all we needed to take off all the stress. I recommend this place and can't wait to Visit Kalangala upon its opening in December ✨

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Dirty room, Wi-Fi not working in room ( owner kept on saying 5 min) but nothing moved. Towels were dirty. Room was full of large cockroaches. The almirahs were full of dust. Toiletries were half used by previous person staying. Not worth of price being asked for. The owner confirmed free pickup and drop to airport and after bill was cleared, the drop to airport was charged.

I stayed there with my wife for 3 nights and it was really an excellent memory for us. We liked so much the front lakeside garden area where we used to take breakfast every day and sit and spent wonderful time together. The staffs are also cooperative and rents are quite affordable.

Pathetic is the most decent word to describe our experience. Hope you put in some effort to improve the cleanliness and standard . Hotel is full of cockroaches and spiders. The internet is not working inside the room. Will never recommend to stay there Regards

The Place is very nice, just by the lake. Its very quiet and chilled. The rooms were nice with mosquito net. Room are clean and neat. Smells good inside the room and toilet. The food was very good, ordered chicken nuggets and fries. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to just chill and be safe. It's only 20mins away from the airport

The location was nice right across from Lake Victoria, food was good, and they were kind enough to move us to the top floor for 1 night, but when asked about the TV was told it would be fixed, never was, due to the subscription expiring, and no batteries in the remote. The one issue was the inconsistency in price,we originally booked the Saffron via Agoda travel ( for a certain price of 53.00 cnd) and when I connected with the hotel couple days before our arrival, was told i should cancel with Agoda ( have booked a few hotels through them) and book directly for 80.00 US. I could not cancel with Agoda or i would not get my money back ( in the end i finally did , after numerous emails) . We arrived around 3;30am and i did inform the manager prior to our arrival , that it would be early but not once did he mentioned there would be extra charge 1/2 nights fee. In the end we were stuck so ended up paying. $250.00 US for 2 1/2 days and if we had more time and was a little more comfortable with the area we would have looked else where, for the price.

This hotel is not like the pictures. The property looks nice from the outside but that is not the case for the inside. Upon entering our room, we noticed an infestation of spiders along the curtain and windows. The whole room and bathroom were dirty and poorly maintained. We could not stay. Unfortunately we still had to pay for our two nights. We didn't want to argue and just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. We had stayed all over Uganda for the past 2 weeks and had not seen such a poorly maintained room. Very disappointing.

Nice lake view with good Indian food. We were group of 5 freinds booked the beach view suits with Jucuzzi it's species and clean. We booked the trip of chimpanzee island by boat at the hotel really enjoyed, thanks to saffron manager Shatra for good service and recommendations for ngamba island trip. I must say worth staying at saffron.

it starts with the reservation. online didn’t work, so called, they said they had it. we show up, they have no record of us. we are the only guests. they asked us what was the price was? and when i told them, they had to check the electricity was gone and we spent 6 hours without, and we’re about to leave. it comes on as we get back from our shoebill tour, so we stay the shower is a hazard - you shower and the toilet gets wet. there is no tub in the room as in the pictures. but the biggest problem is that the floor is slippery as heck and when wet you can fall. full of bugs and flies swarming the place. i had booked two rooms and for the person no day 2 - the water was out entirely. one good thing - the dinner we had was delicious.

Stayed here two nights at the end of an amazing Ugandan roadtrip. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor for saffron hotel I decided to rebook and stay here. That was a really bad mistake. Everything the other reviews said about saffron is simply not true and I’m baffled as to how it got those ratings and reviews. The restaurant, the beach bar, and the terrace dining area looked derelict and very poorly maintained. The room itself was basic although the first day there was no electricity and on the second day there was no water. This meant flushing with a bucket of water, breathing deeply, and heading somewhere else for a cold beer… When stuff was working, the shower was a lukewarm piddle at best. Even though the room had breakfast included, the hotel was still asleep at 8am and I had to drum the staff awake. The hotel was reluctant to serve breakfast and I should’ve taken that cue. The breakfast was very poor. Coffee was a watered down Nescafé, a big shame given that Uganda has the best coffee! The omelet looked like something the cat dragged in, and the carrots and cucumber salad had a pungent taste of onions although there were no onions in sight. The pineapple juice was unidentifiable. Next to the saffron hotel there are other really nice hotels. Unless you’re on a 50usd max budget, I would strongly recommend any Traveller to NOT stay at saffron as you will end up hanging out at the other hotel bars and restaurants anyway in much nicer and fully working hotel conditions.
