What a lovely spot. Gorgeous accommodation. Kangaroos viewed from our bedroom window. Comfortable. Fireplace, beautiful furnishings and a very comfy bed. Ensuite for each of the four bedrooms; a perfect getaway for friends or families. Very generous breakfast provisions. Delightful and friendly host. We would love to return. For longer next time. Well located, close to Mudgee and numerous wineries.

Another trip to Mudgee and another perfect stay at Wildwood. I always have the best sleep and the host is great. I look forward to many more visits in the future.

I found Wildwood Guesthouse at Mudgee to be genuine value for money luxury. In short, the product matched the description. All bookings at Wildwood offer exclusive occupancy so I had the place to myself for a bit over $200 a day with a fine country breakfast thrown in. Beautiful authentic setting, ducks a’dabbling, cockatoos screeching, kookaburras laughing and wallabies wandering. Bird life quite amazing. Accomodation boasts original artworks of note, open fire and a decent sound system. Cafes and wineries are within minutes by car or 20 minutes on a pushbike, to town. I rarely take the time to review places where I’ve stayed however Wildwood has a real feel good factor and when I compare it to other places offering ‘luxury’, it’s a standout.

We had a wonderful stay at Wildwood Guesthouse. Beautiful, homely and very spacious rooms with super comfortable beds and each room has its own ensuite. We were extremely well catered for with a well stocked fridge of fresh produce which was greatly received. The host was very generous, friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying nature. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. We will be back :)

What a lovely place. Rob was a great host and made us feel very welcome. Very quiet and beautiful setting which makes it very easy to relax. The guesthouse has 4 bedrooms and so many lounge / dining areas and great balconies. We’ll be back for sure !

What a beautiful relaxed secluded country retreat close to Mudgee. The accommodation was unique, roomy and homely. Rob was the perfect host and ensured everything was to our liking. The fridge and cupboards were well stocked with breakfast essentials plus lots of fresh fruit. Internet was limited and we could only receive texts.

In commuting distance from Mudgee CBD, 'Wildwood' guest house is a well appointed solar passive house in a genuine Australian bush setting. Welcome choruses of native birds lull you to sleep and wake you up in the morning. The self catered breakfast was fresh and delicious and the hospitality warm. A two night stay is suggested to appreciate this special setting.

We have stayed at Rob's beautiful home twice now. It is a lovely country homestead with ensuites in each big comfortable bedroom which is a real plus when sharing with a group of friends. The communal areas are large with plenty of lounges to seat everyone around the fire. The kitchen is large and well equipped with plenty of room for guests to cook together. There are plenty of lounges outside on the verandah that wraps around the house to enjoy the sun or some quiet time watching the kangaroos and listening to the birds. You will not go hungry for breakfast.Rob is a very generous host and provides every thing you could possibly want including freshly laid eggs, lots of fresh seasonal fruit, bacon, sausages, cereals, breads, milks, OJ, etc, etc. Great place to disconnect from social media and enjoy the company of those you are staying with.
