We went to this restaurant as it was just across the car park. The waitress said that they were only serving drinks and we should outside. At this point she had an espresso on a tray. While we were seated outside, she came round and plonked the very same espresso and a bill fir €2.50. I said that I don't drink espressos abd wanted a regular coffee (they had Americano and was happy with that). 10 min later she brought black coffee in a larger cup with a bill fir €3.50 and disappeared. The drink was an espresso - a cold espresso. The cheek of someone trying to do this in a restaurant! Anyways, I thought I would just add milk to this and just get it over with but no - she didn't bring milk for another 10 min. And when I went in to ask, she plonked it in front of me and shouted something in French. At which point, I had had enough, took the coffee in and tried to pay and leave. Another guy said that it had been a busy morning and they were short staffed and made a real americano. Being busy and short-staffed is understandable (although there were not many people at the time we were there). But not trying to fob someone off with a different drink and throwing attitude. There are several lovely eateries in the actual village. Please make your way up the hill. They were lovely and grateful for the business.
