Back Inn Time is a stunning house with lots of comfortable public rooms and lovely garden. The location is two blocks from the center of downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. Karen Marie has decorated the historic home beautifully. Apparently, it is the only B&B in Saint Albans, I'd say staying at Back Inn Time is the only proper way to enjoy this charming area of Vermont.

It was a very delightful place: Loved the old Victorian building, stained glass windows, KarenMarie and her breakfasts and the location; just across the board "fives". I was there for the April 2024 eclipse which was quite an experience. The weather cooperated very nicely. Some high thin clouds but the view was, in my opinion, not really impaired at all. KarenMarie's place is close to a public park called Taylor Park on Main Street in downtown St Albans, only about 1/2 a mile away. The crowd roar that went up when totality hit was quite spectacular. I was not down at Taylor Park. I was in a parking lot adjacent to Back Inn Time B&B with my camera gear. Anyway, it worked out very well for me, but I want to emphasize that you won't require an eclipse to want to stay there.

Owner KarenMarie was very welcoming and friendly. She served lovely breakfasts. There were beautifully decorated rooms and our bed was super comfortable. Great location- just a few blocks walk to downtown, so we were able to visit great restaurants, cute shops and the town's movie theater.

Beautiful house, charming and cozy. Great atmosphere!! Very friendly!! Highly recommend!! The owner was very nice, always there to answer questions about the area and anything you may need for your stay.

Beautiful building and felt like an authentic b & b experience. The room was lovely although no TV …not a dealbreaker for us but I think should perhaps be mentioned or called out in the property description. (There is a tv in the common area though). We didn’t ask about the pool but it’s not on the property…just something “nearby” (not visible so not sure where it actually was) and realistically is probably enough of a hassle to put you off using it. The shower in our room was extremely small and very low pressure, again not a dealbreaker and to be expected in an older home. The host was a friend of the owner who was away for the weekend and she was lovely and friendly. However, for the price ($400 USD including tax), I think I was expecting a bit more from the room and inn features iso gave a rating of four stars vs five due to vale for the money.

Very nice bed and breakfast. Friendly, accommodating, beautiful, clean Victorian home. Breakfast was very good. Will definitely go back.
