A very nice and large room with a separate sitting area with mini fridge, microwave and dining table. Bathroom tub was super large and very nice. The bed linens are top quality and very comfortable.

An oasis during a hurricane, we escaped Florida to avoid potential damage to our lives during the hurricane Milton ordeal. When we arrived at this nice hotel we were greeted with the fact that we weren’t being charged pet fee. They waived the pet fee for the hurricane evacuation . The facility is extremely clean recently renovated everyone that works here is pleasant. I really really was very pleasantly surprised and grateful that this is where we chose to stay.

The first room they gave us smelled really bad so they gave us a 2nd room which was not too bad, the furniture was really old and beat up in the breakfast area, the kitchen area was filthy, outdoor furniture was all stained up with missing cushions. the wooden railing to the seating area was broken and hanging over. This was the worst Holiday Inn I've ever experienced! The front desk staff were exceptional and very sympathetic to our concerns. We cancelled our 2nd night and just drove home.

We needed a place to stop half way between Texas and South Florida. All the reviews were sketchy for the hotels right off I-10 in Spanish Fort, AL. Here we experienced Super friendly and helpful front desk clerk. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is. Clean from the parking lot to the entrance. Very fresh smelling room, and super clean. Not a far drive off I-10 for such a nice clean nights sleep. Would highly recommended.

I don't usually write too many reviews, but this hotel was so nice I wanted to make sure I shared my experience. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and all the completed areas that we saw (lobby, breakfast room, and hotel room) were so beautiful and tastefully done. The breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I've seen. On this particular road trip, we stayed at four different hotels some of which were pricey, boutique-style, but I have to say this Holiday Inn Express was my favorite one. Great value, great service, great stay! I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

The hotel was well appointed and clean. The front desk staff, especially Vicky were extremely helpful. This was our first visit to Fairhope, and we were pleasantly surprised. The free breakfast was great, as were the ladies to take care of that area. Everyone super friendly. Would definitely recommend!

One of the cleanest and friendliest hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in while on a travel assignment for work. Alexus, overnight front desk clerk, has an amazing smile and makes you feel welcome. I will definitely be back to stay at this location. AMAZING breakfast bar.

Clean rooms, nice staff, the rooms are a little small if you get one with 2 queen beds. Acceptable breakfast. It is an especially good location if you need to be near the hospital Plenty of parking.

When we opened the room door and walked in, we immediately noticed a faint but terrible urine smell. Upon examining the bathroom, we saw mold on the grout/caulking all around where the shower enclosure meets the wall, and nasty, obvious yellow stains in all corners of the room. Was gross, actually. Like they took a towel and did a quick wipe on the floor to "clean" it. Had to make a run to the Walgreen's for some Clorox cleanup and paper towels and then get to work. (We did not want to depend on the "housekeeper" to come back to remedy the situation -- what would be the chances of THAT working out?) Are cleanliness standards REALLY this low nowadays? Unacceptable.

For just a one night stay, we enjoyed the Holiday Inn Express. Close to charming downtown Fairhope. The hotel is new with a clean fresh feeling. Good parking but a bit unique as GPS takes you thru Burger King to get to hotel. Overall it was a good experience. Nice breakfast in morning.

Stayed here at the last min. Stayed 2 nights. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean Breakfast area well stocked,hot and very good. Beautiful facility! Will stay again next time in town. Close to grocery and restaurant’s

The staff is great. The location is very good. Now for the negative. There is no way on God's green earth that this hotel is worth $250 per night. The complimentary breakfast was the worst we've ever had. A bit noisy the two times we have stayed. Needs some upkeep . I did like the chocolate chip cookies.

Stay was great from breakfast to cleanliness until - I got a room charge for a smoking fee. Me and the colleague I was rooming with both were flabbergasted by this - thought it was a prank until the card was charged. The girls at the front desk could not tell me why our room was accused and acted as if they didn’t know anything about it. The first day I brought this issue to attention, the one manager who was on site was very polite and pleasant, today - not so much. Was a bit rude and dismissing like she just didn’t want to deal with it and kept saying her GM would have to handle it. After multiple failed attempts to speak with the general manager I contacted customer service. Customer service told me they would share my number with the GM, and I have still not heard from him/her. I looked into the reviews and found a few more people having this same issue - being charged smoking fees without question and without evidence within the last year at this location.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Breakfast was very good and very plentiful with a lot of choices. We stayed in the suite because there were 5 of us. It was huge and nicely arranged. We would definitely stay again.
