Wunderschön renoviertes Hotel, überwältigende Lage. Personal überaus zuvorkommend, wir bekamen ein Upgrade bei unserer Anreise.

The best hotel we have stayed at. Its quiet luxury in terms of service - the hotel staff at all levels are down to earth and treat everyone equally and kindly and their service does leave you wanting for anything. It was worth every dollar. Paul, their head concierge, is beyond exceptional. Provided a lot of help with day trips and recommendations that we took and loved. They even helped with a car rental that was dropped and picked up at the hotel. And Paul also came and picked us up when the taxis were on strike for a night (so kind). The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. They are beautifully decorated and spacious. The library is a cozy place to eat breakfast and read or have a quiet moment to yourself. and the grounds are beautifully kept. We also went during their shoulder season so it was quieter - not sure what summer might be like there I hope to definitely go back there.

"Tributo alla bellezza, arte e storia" Famiglia Incastonati sulle colline di Fiesole situata alla base della colline di Maiano, siamo stati accolti al ricevimento in maniera gentile e coccolati per tutto il soggiorno in questa splendida Villa, un tributo all'arte, alla bellezza e la storia di questa villa [...] 🌹 con splendido paesaggio su Firenze. Abbiamo soggiornato in una Junior Suite, spaziosa con accesso al giardino, il punto forte "il bagno spazioso" con vasca a filo e dotata di ogni confort. Siamo rimasti delusi però dall'arredamento non consono per il tipo d'ambiente, troppo moderno...in particolar modo il letto...perde la magia del contesto in cui ci si trova. Immersa nel verde la Villa è dotata di una veranda "Splendida", con vista Giardino stile Barocco e la città di Firenze, dove abbiamo pranzato e cenato, serviti e accolti in modo professionale e gentile da "Francesco", un valore aggiunto alla struttura. La struttura è dotata di una zona solarium con piscina e piccola palestra adiacente, anche qui nulla da dire sul personale, Christian ci ha accolti e serviti in maniera gentile e professionale, ma alcune osservazioni vanno fatte considerato che parliamo di una location di lusso di questo livello: 1) la zona solarium e piccola rispetto alla capienza del resort, si rischia di contendersi... Com'è avvenuto l'ombrellone con i lettini...! Basterebbe estendere la zona solarium apportando delle modifiche strutturali prolungando il terreno verso il basso, ci sarebbe posto anche per un ulteriore piscina. 2) i sedili con l' idromassaggio non risultavano funzionanti, c è l'impianto ma non è funzionante. 3) il calpestio della zona solarium non può essere tenuta con terriccio... Per non dire fango perché ha piovuto in questi giorni, In molte zone manca l'erba. Si suggerisce di rivestire la zona solarium almeno la parte alta più calpestabile con Green PAV (ci sono di varie tipologie) o rivestimento in legno esterno colore del terreno, oppure un folto e curato prato. 4) L'acqua delle piscine ed il loro fondo risultava sporco in tutte le occasioni, in quanto il terreno presenta terriccio e fango. Una location Iconica, con piccoli dettagli che possono aiutare gli ospiti a pieno relax. Sicuramente ritorneremo, anche per usufruire della Spa, in quanto al momento del soggiorno risultava essere in ristrutturazione.

We were on a 10 day tour of Tuscany and while we were coming back to Florence towards the end of our trip, we wanted our first day to relax after a trans-Atlantic flight. We wanted a hotel that was elegant, embodied the rich history of the city, was close enough to Florence to make us feel like we were there but yet, we didn’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of it all. Lastly, it was warm so we wanted a fabulous pool and great dining options. Set on a hillside, this hotel/ resort hit all the marks and exceeded expectations. It was relaxing for sure and offered decadent rooms with outstanding views of the city below. The pool is amazingly set amongst olive and fruit trees. The service was on point at every level. A wonderful start to our Tuscan getaway.

Fantastic stay at this tucked away Tuscan villa in the quiet hills of Florence. The place itself is very calm & peaceful, slightly outside the busy streets of the main town itself. There is a shuttle bus running throughout most of the day, every hour from the hotel to the town centre and back again, which saves €25 roughly each way. We found all of the staff to be very attentive & helpful, rooms were regularly cleaned and of very good quality. Our breakfast was included and was always delightful, especially with the views down onto Florence itself. We also had lunch & dinner in the restaurant, which was lovely, albeit slightly more expensive than external restaurants we found, but in all honesty that's to be expected given the quality of the surroundings! The pool area is lovely, you can easily spend a day or two of your trip here, a short walk down, although transport via a golf cart can be provided upon request, along with towels. Spa area is also included and very relaxing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here & would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Florence.
