曼塔雷島嶼度假酒店(Mantaray Island Resort)

Great stay, the treetop house was super cute and less than 30sec walk to the beach. Make sure you do the Village Walk, 100% worth it!

This is one of the best resorts on the Yasawas for solo travelers; the dorm accommodation is large, clean and allows you to meet new people. There are also lots of activities and the food provided is great.

The service cannot be faulted at Mantaray Island Resort. The staff remembered our names immediately and used them every time we saw them. Nothing was too much trouble, especially for the friendly restaurant staff. Food was very good, with buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. Some options were not available at lunch, but this changed every day and was clearly dependent on the boat deliveries. No issues here, there was always a lot of choice. Room was comfortable and spacious with an outdoor shower (beachfront villa). AC was much appreciated during the summer humidity. Other amenities perhaps a little more basic than other similar resorts. Snorkeling off the beach was first class and the snorkel boat trip well worth it and good value at FJD 59 - amazing marine life. We did experience one issue (out of the hotel’s control) while at the hotel, but it was dealt with perfectly and I cannot fault the response at all. Much appreciated.

Beautiful getaway at a marine park in the Yasawa Islands. Incredible Staff. They need to update their underwater and accommodation photos. The food was perfect. All islands have to be cautious with what they serve and not waste food. They let you order off menu and you can order more than one dish if you’re hungry. This is very nice instead of a Buffet every meal. Breakfast is a buffet but they have made to order omelettes. You bill everything to your room and pay by card or cash at check out. The underwater life and beach is beautiful. I’ve dove all over the world and the only other snorkeling and diving that compares is Coral Gardens in Taha’a French Polynesia and Blue Corner in Palau. Aruba and Belize and even the Great Barrier are not as good for snorkeling and diving. The tree house bure was worth it to have some privacy. The dorm seemed to be acceptable to others, but I wanted my own quiet and space. It has open windows and a fan but not air con. There is a walk to another beach for sunset. The blowing of the conch shell when a Manta ray is spotted is beautiful and exciting. The channel is around the corner. The life here is worth the trip. A tree house bure for $100 usd a night HERE is MUCH MUCH better for water activities and reef life than $300++ on the islands of Beachcomber, Treasure Island or those closer to Nadi.

The place is definitely not a 5 star resort but the facilities are still excellent and the staff are what truly makes this place memorable. They always bend over backwards to help you with anything you need. They make sure you’re comfortable and happy. The snorkeling in the reef right out front of the resort is outstanding however we always chose to snorkel at more remote locations on excursions that were offered. But that was just a personal preference. The food is good although nothing special but the staff always does their best to make sure you’re happy and satisfied. The main issue to be prepared for is the charges for excursions and for renting snorkeling equipment, etc. it does feel a little nit-picky but overall we were very satisfied with our stay and the facilities. Be aware that only the beachfront bures have air conditioning but most people didn’t complain. Also those that were there for diving were very satisfied and felt the value was fantastic. The staff all know what they’re doing and nobody ever felt unsafe. For good value and lots of fun interacting with a great staff and very interesting travelers from all over the world I can’t recommend Manataray Island Resort enough.

We've been to Manta Ray Resort in august 2023. What an amazing experience. We had the last cabin at the end of the beach, this place met all our needs. The cabin was spacious, tidy, clean. We had a bad smell from the compostable toilet for few hours but other than that it was perfect. I had the most beautiful snorkelling experience in my life. You can rent snorkelling gears for $25 for your entire stay which is good and I can tell that its worth it! The food is amazing. breakfast is a buffet with a lot of choices, 3 courses dinner. The staff is caring and will do everything to meet your needs. They love children and will include them in all activities. I found that the price for cocktails was a little bit expensive ( $24) and only $2 less on happy hour. Nice lounge with couches and free wifi but doesn't work well if there are too many people using internet at the same time. Lots of free activities. To have access to the restaurant you need to walk a bit and use the stairs. If you are in a weel chair or have difficulties to walk I would say that this point need to be considerate. there is a nice volley ball course and we felt it was easy to connect with other people. there is always something to do. Kayaking is free and paddle board as well. We had a warm welcome with songs and same for our last day just before living. It was wonderful! Vanessa

預訂了家庭海灘小屋，我很高興我們做到了！我喜歡戶外淋浴，房間非常乾淨，空調很好。島上很可愛，有一家可愛的餐廳，可以俯瞰樹木。工作人員真的很可愛，我真的很推薦潛水，尤其是在塔武尼科角。當然，不能保證蝠鱝游泳，但我希望他們控制人數：僅限前 10 人。這個地方唯一不喜歡的一點是，當你想一邊享用早餐一邊聽鳥叫時，他們在餐廳裡大聲播放可怕的流行音樂和鄉村音樂，聲音令人討厭。珊瑚礁上的浮潛非常棒，但退潮時不要出去，你會被困住的！
