格羅夫酒店(Grove Hotel)

The Grove has been renovated since last summer. Mostly cosmetic upgrades but rooms are clean, beds were comfy. For the price, it’s a great deal.

Haven’t been back to Fire Island in years; it hasn’t changed as much as I would have thought. Spent my summers at Sailors Haven and different towns on the Island; always had fun in Cherry Grove. Stayed during the shoulder season, but the weather and beach was superb. Dining opportunities were better than most of the other towns out here this time of the year. The Sand Castle was our “go to” dinner location and their food never disappointed. D afternoon drinks at Island Breeze and The Tiki Bar were excellent, and of course, the entertainment at the Ice Palace was a ton of fun! The hotel is conveniently located to the dock, the beach, restaurants and entertainment; you can’t ask for a more convenient location. One note re: the hotel; be sure to request linen changes and new towels. It’s not provided unless you specifically request a service!

Absolutely will be back in the Spring…beds so comfy.. room with bay vie was beautiful Loved the little boutique next door

I booked this location because it was advertised to be in Sayville. However, 15 minutes after booking this NON REFUNDABLE room, the hotel advised me that the only way to arrive is by Ferry; it’s NOT in Sayville at all! I explained my dilemma and asked for a refund. The ferry scheduled is limited, worse, due to a forecasted Tropical storm Lee, the ferry would be canceled! They finally agreed, after much ajeta to rebook for another day. Receptionist actually hung up the phone on me when I call them a fraud… This made my reservation absolutely useless since my only reason for booking was to attend a show in Bohemia. Buyer be aware… I am going there next week only to make use of the credit they provided

Beautiful decking around the pool with the cheapest tacky plastic furniture you could buy. Shower area by pool old, dirty and needs to be replaced. One end of the pool area in the back filled with trash. A hose is needed by the entrance to the hotel to rinse sand off your feet. Maybe have a set up for coffee in the morning.

Clean and decent size rooms. It was a little noisy at night. But what do you expect, it’s Fire Island!

Super clean ,modern convenient to everything Dining, restaurants, ice cream shops, discotheque, ice Palace, bars, the Beach poolside room. it truly was one of the best experiences!

The rooms have undergone a nice renovation. They were perfectly clean and modern. The exterior of the complex has yet to be renovated. It is disorganized and messy - as you might expect during the middle of a project. Because it is part of the Ice Palace complex, there are events scheduled throughout the day and night. That makes for a lot of fun, but there doesn't appear to be someone who oversees setups and take downs. It would be helpful to have someone overseeing the general operation and run a tighter ship. Nevertheless, the weekend was a lot of fun. We would return.

Enjoyed every minute of my Labor Day visit to Cherry Grove. Glad this hotel is here, as it was the best place I have ever stayed while visiting Cherry Grove over the years...just bring ear plugs if you go to bed early!
