奎恰爾迪尼宮殿酒店(Palazzo Guicciardini)

Wat een mooi en uniek hotel. Het heeft maar 6 kamers maar allemaal stuk voor stuk prachtig en super ruim. We hebben onze ogen uit gekeken. De gast vrouw is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze regelen alles voor je. Het ontbijt was ook erg lekker. We zouden hier zeker terug gaan!

Réception fermée dès 20h. Après aucun service dans l'hôtel. Les prises électriques ne fonctionnaient pas,plus de lumière au dessus du miroir de la salle de bain. Le lit bébé prévu dans la chambre pour notre fils qui n'était que partiellement déplié et monté ( parce que le mécanisme était défectueux, je l'ai découvert en essayant de finir de le monter) et pleins de tâches. Les petits déjeuner sont inexistants,pas de service en buffet mais un misérable plateau avec des aliments imposés, 2 tranches de pains de mie de supermarché,2 mini portion de beurre Président et de Nutella et d'inbuvables cafés. Oui, les chambres sont jolies,c'est la seule chose positive mais pour le reste cité précédemment, c'est inadmissible pour un hôtel de ce standing. Durant notre voyage, nous avons logé dans des hôtels de gamme similaire, pour être sûr d'obtenir tout le confort que nous avions envie de recevoir et c'est le seul qui n'a pas atteint,et de loin,le service et la propreté requise dans ce genre d'établissement. Heureusement que nous y avons passé qu'une seule nuit.

I booked this accommodation in December 2022, with very good rates. I checked the rates approximately a week before and they had almost tripled. I received numerous confirmations- even up until the day before. After travelling 7 hours by boat, bus and then taxi, I was told I don’t have a reservation? They blamed *********** but it wasn’t that. They obviously got a better price. After months of planning and really looking forward to that hotel, I was extremely disappointed. In the end, after another taxi, we ended up staying at a great hotel near the train station. Luckily they could accommodate us at last minute. As much as the pictures look amazing, I wouldn’t recommend if you want to guarantee a room!!

Liked · The room was HUGE .. literally you could play football in it! Grand room with very high ceilings .. felt like we were truly in a Palazzo with wonderful frescos in the ceiling The location of across the bridge from the Ponte Vecchio and I think I would prefer to have been on the more central part of town if I am honest. Disliked · Its actually too big .. to the point that heating or cooling takes at least an hour to get to the required temperature! The bathroom is small and the one major issue we had was the smell. Really bad gutter smell when we arrived and the rooms smell got progressively worse! Breakfast is a croissant and some fruit so very basic and one person seems to do everything .. front desk, room assistance, serving coffee and brekkie etc

Veldig flotte rom. Ligger sentralt. Frokosten er enkel. Anbefaler å stikke ut døren og ta en frokost rundt hjørnet på noen av de lokale kafeene.

Una residenza d’epoca in centro, a due passi da Ponte vecchio e quindi davvero comoda per raggiungere a piedi ogni attrazione della città. Siamo stati accolti da una ragazza estremamente gentile, professionale e disponibile, che ci ha mostrato la splendida camera affrescata dove abbiamo passato una notte in tranquillità. Il letto era gigantesco (non mi era mai capitato di dormire su un letto così largo); la stanza spaziosa, il bagno confortevole. Nonostante la camera desse sulla via (quasi per niente trafficata, ma di notte abbastanza animata), non abbiamo sentito nessun rumore grazie alla perfetta insonorizzazione dell’enorme finestra. Pulizia al top. Colazione abbastanza varia nei dolci, ma che purtroppo non contempla nulla di salato. Consigliato per gli amanti delle sistemazioni antiche e suggestive. Prezzo abbastanza elevato ma che rientra negli standard della città.

This is exactly what we were hoping for when visiting Florence! Nestled right in the heart of the city, this is the ideal location for a weekend trip. The hotel itself feels really personal, with limited rooms and brilliant service. The room was huge and brilliantly decorated. Would definitely stay again, and if you are looking for a real taste of Florence, then Palazzo Guicciardini is perfect!

We have stayed here several times over the years, and we keep coming back because of the location, the rooms, the setting and the staff. It is on the Olrarno side of the river and only a few minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. As an old palazzo, the rooms are wonderfully decorated with wall and ceiling frescoes, The staff are welcoming, helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast has been downsized some since COVID but there is still sufficient food for a light breakfast after the typical (relatively late) tourist dinner the night before. We asked for a room facing the garden (toward the Arno) and were slightly disappointed by it being somewhat smaller than what we had experienced in the past. Previously, we stayed on the street side of the building in huge rooms (might be a bit pricier) which were fantastic. Only issue on the street side was that it could be somewhat noisy if one sleeps with the windows open. But, all in all, a great place to stay away from the din of the central part of the city and we will go back there next time in Florence.
