Travelodge by Wyndham Welland

The side door did not lock and was open all night. You could hear it banging every time someone came in or out. I was not sure about the place as soon as I saw lock hasps for padlocks on the inside of the the reception area door. I will say that inside the rooms were clean. The problem was there were what appeared to be long term tenants at the back of the motel that would make most people uncomfortable. One of these fellows was cursing and swearing for some time in the parking lot below our room. Incredibly expensive for what this motel is. I would never stay there again.

Travellodge did not have our reservation in their system, but could see ******* did. Thankfully they found what apparently was the last room. It was in rough shape, the towel rack was falling off the wall, the furniture was beat up, marks all over the walls, we only had 2 hand towels and face cloths (there were 2 of us) the room smelled of smoke. We went to the front desk to ask for some and were told us they'd be delivered. After 1/2 hr no towels, went back down and were told they were busy. Finally housekeeping showed up with 1 towel. The staff was pleasant, however, the place is on the dumpy side. Besides the smoke smell, the room did seem fairly clean.

no wifi for most of the time....it was stressful to get towels...they never would give enough....I was there 4 days and my bed was never made...and I had to ask constantly for the garbage to be changed. They also rent out half the hotel to what looked like people with substance abuse problems. I would never stay there again

There were several black stains on the ceiling in the washroom. I understand this is a high humidity area, however more attention should be given to this area.

Easy to get to off HWY 406. Easy checkin. Room is clean but a little dated. Good room for the price and in a great location as to ding and shopping.

Everything was good, staff were nice, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and updated.
