Worst hotel you can book and stay at. Messed up at checked in. Was told the room was ready but extra payment was needed, thus waited till 3pm, which we accepted. Then the other Front Desk Agent said she had no information from us on the initial checked in and we started all over again at 3pm for the second checked in. Not sure what went wrong, but the attitude that was shown (it is your problem) would never, never, and never will ever get him to come back or recommend this hotel to anyone. We then had to drag our 4 luggages up onto the 2nd floor of the other buidling. Our room 3204 was next to the pool. Till 3.00 am, there was noises. Poor insulation and below average cleanliness in room with hand towels instead of bath towels. Hard to dry off after a shower. The main door lock was tilted and shaking (see photo). The blind was broken and the safe is at a height that one has to be over 1.80 meters to reach. Overall, poor maintenance and worst was the show of bad attitude at check in. Room ready but asked for payment. Waited till 3.00 pm and did all over again the check in process. Wasting time and made me feel it was my problem. Your guests will never like to be treated that way, with noises till 3.00 am in the morning, and the number of broken maintenance items in the room and no providing of bath towels. Those are all standards of a regular hotel, we have come to expect and the price we paid for.

Essentially comfortable. Very basic. Good value, I go to the beach to be on the beach and the location is good.

We were not able to check in when we returned to the hotel more than an hour after check in time because our "floors hadn't been cleaned" - mind you, we dropped our baggage off around 9:30am and did all of the check in paperwork at that time, so they knew they were coming in. When they finally had our room ready, nearly 90 minutes after check in, we were greeted with a room with schmutz on the floors and dust bunnies in the corners beside the bathroom vanity... The staff was rude and flippant when we expressed our discontent with the check in issues as though it is the norm for this hotel to not have rooms ready at check in time. Not to mention there was mold growing in the shower, the hot tub was the color of Red Bull, and the grounds were a hot mess. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good place for a one night stay. The property needs major renovation. The location it's great, felt very safe.

At first, the hotel room was not what we expected, as the description and photos didn’t quite match up. However, the staff immediately stepped in to help and showed us other available rooms both at the hotel and at the neighboring property under the same ownership. We ended up finding the perfect fit at the Aqua Hotel! Maggie and Natalia went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our room. Maggie is a true gem, and her warm, family-style hospitality is exactly what I appreciate most about places like this. Another huge plus is the variety of amenities. There are several pools to choose from, including both saltwater and freshwater pools, along with relaxing hot tubs throughout the property. The location is also fantastic — nestled just two blocks from the beach and surrounded by so many great places to shop, eat, and grab a drink. And whatever you do, do not skip Archibald’s Bakery! Because of the way we were treated, we will absolutely be back.

The check in asks for you to complete an extra online form which wants a photo of your license. Completely unnecessary and scammy approach to check in. Room had the loudest air conditioner which rattled all night.
