Great hotel with great location Fully recommend as business travel

Una posizione incantevole proprio sulla piazzetta del porto di Fowey. La vista dalla finestra è fantastica. La pulizia eccellente come la cortesia del personale. Abbiamo fatto una colazione ottima nonostante i problemi avuti nel paese la notte precedente. Consiglio di far attenzione alle porte della camera che essendo antincendio sono un po' pesanti da aprire. Per il resto siamo molto soddisfatti e lo consiglio.

From arrival, we had the most marvellous communication with the Haveners team. We were greeted with a happy and helpful check-in service and escorted to our room. The room was a twin, the beds were so comfortable, great bathroom, tea and coffee facilities in the room were fabulous too. The continental and full cooked breakfasts were a treat! Plenty of cooked options, all served by a friendly and happy server. After check out, we spent the morning at the Fowey Christmas Market and headed back for a delicious Sunday lunch at Haveners. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful and lunch was perfectly cooked and tasty. Highly recommended and we’ll be booking again to stay for the market next year.

Set next to the harbour front a beautiful way to spend an afternoon eating and drinking it was our first visit the food was first class great tastes and nice presentation great service by all the staff friendly and knowledgeable great value looking forward to repeating the experience next summer

This small hotel has a gorgeous location by the water's edge and offers a very comfortable home from home. Parking isn't easy, though you wouldn't go to Fowey if that was a serious concern, but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay. The room was warm, the bed excellent, the food very good (one of the best chowders we've ever had) and - most of all - the staff were both friendly and very helpful.

My family and I went for Sunday lunch at Haveners at the end of January and we really couldn't fault it. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch - we were a large table but we were very well looked after. Plenty of veg to go with the roast, and we were offered more if we needed it. Really good value for money. Despite it being January the pub was busy and had a great atmosphere - we will return soon!

We stayed here for a weekend and the room was lovely! Comfy bed, great amenities and easy check in. Cat helped check us in and also served us in the restaurant that evening and couldn’t have been nicer. Service was so friendly and attentive and all the food was exceptional!

Tasty food with friendly service. Particularly enjoyed the beef shin & tribute pie. We opted for chips instead of mash. Good portions. Very tasty,

Our first stay at Haveners and I have to say what a fantastic place, staff were all very friendly and helped us carry our suitcase to our room. Room 3 was gorgeous with a lovely view of the quay. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were soft. We will definitely be back!

Stayed 1 night in Havener’s for our wedding anniversary & it was simply perfect from the gorgeous room (room 2) with beautiful view, excellent location, friendly helpful staff to excellent food. Booked a meal in the evening which was amazing in the lovely conservatory overlooking the estuary where we also had breakfast the next day. Drinks & food were not at all expensive (St Austell bars in Newlyn are a lot dearer) which was a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend & will definitely be back.

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and the people we came into contact into contact with were friendly and seemed to be helpful. The housekeeper and breakfast waitress deserves a special mention. The food was lovely and very filling! The only downside was that there is no on site parking however this wasn’t a major problem because there were two parking sites within relatively easy walking distance. (Parking tip - if you are staying three nights or more then a weekly parking ticket for Caffa Mill car park is £9.80)

Perfect location, professional, helpful and happy front of house staff, fantastic tasty food! Estuary view room, comfy, good size, clean with everything you need, great pillows :) No reserved parking, but 2 hours pay for parking in front of Haveners, or long stay car park 5/10 mins away.

Delightful accommodation and very high standard. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean and presentable. Very comfortable beds, nice touches are a proper coffee machine with pods, water and biscuits. Lovely views across the harbour area. I stayed in the Twin room at top of the building. The only minor point that you may want to consider before booking is that this room is above the kitchen extractor fan. So, it can be noisy until about 11pm as it is constantly humming. The breakfast was delightful. It included fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurt, cereals and cooked to order hot food. The restaurant for evening meals is very good. Food choices very good and very fresh and reasonably priced. The main car parks are approx. 10 minutes walk into the centre of Fowey and the accommodation. Consider this when carrying your bags, etc. Overnight car park is free from 4PM to 9AM. Very good. Highly recommend. I would stay again, but not in the Twin room.

We returned to Haveners for the second year, due to the location, the helpful and friendly staff, food and cleanliness of the modern and well equipped rooms. The staff were willing to help with any enquiry and we were always met with a warm welcome. Will definitely book for next year. Thank you to all staff we encountered.
