We enjoyed our stay at the Down Tyne Lodge in Franklin, NE, we were in the area for some rest and relaxation and family bonding at the lake. The room was clean, cute and very spacious with comfy beds and pillows. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I'd recommend give it try you will be surprised.

This was a very nice, pet-friendly motel, which we need, as we travel by car with our dog between AZ and MN and vice versa. It's always a plus for me when the floors are not carpeted! Very clean. We'd definitely stay there again!

Had a lovely stay here. We had a lovely sized room, which was very clean and had all of the facilities needed. Breakfast was simple but fine. This is lovely family run business and nothing was too much trouble. I have no hesitation in giving Drop Tyne Lodge our strongest recommendation

This was a true find. Sometimes reviews lead astray. Not this time. I booked for one night but next time for three. No kidding. This couple put farming savvy to work in establishing this gem on the central plains. The rate is modest. The room restful and clean, no bedbugs. The style is classic 50s auto court with parking at your door. Broad slots of parking, no dings in your door. Breakfast is modest but ample. Nobody's watching you take the second sausage and egg sandwich. I liked the warmth of the hospitality, the ease of check-in and checkout. No nonsense, straightforward, gracious. No stinginess, a splendid operation by a wonderful team.
