Nachdem wir in unserem Stamm-Guesthouse mit unserer Gruppe nicht unterkommen konnten, verbrachten wir eine schöne Zeit in Franschhoek im Les Chambres. Die Zimmer sind groß, ebenso das Bad. Es hat einen schönen Garten und einen kleinen Pool. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Peter und Bradley kümmern sich mit ihrem Team sehr um ihre Gäste. Das Guesthouse ist sehr zentral gelegen, so dass man viele Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar sind Einen kleinen Abstrich gibt es lediglich für die, im Vergleich zu anderen Guesthouses, kleinere Auswahl beim Frühstück. Allerdings sind die Portionen reichlich.

Situation parfaite dans le centre de Franschoek et pourtant assez calme. Excellent petit déjeuner et merci à Jan pour son accueil, son aide pour les bagages et efficacité. Privilégier les chambres 1 à 4 un peu plus chères mais plus spacieuses.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so very welcome and special. Nothing was too much trouble for Peter, Bradley and the team, who went the extra mile for us. Les Chambres was just lovely, with a delightful swimming pool and quiet little seating areas where you could chill with a glass of wine and a book, or chat to new found friends. Peter took us to the restaurant at La Petite Ferme, just out of town. What a place, with views like you’ve never seen, especially at sun set - amazing. Les Chambres is located a very short stroll from the main street, with the fabulous Tuk Tuk Micro Brewery, restaurant and bar at the bottom of road. A fabulous place in a fabulous little town. The most wonderful 2 night stay! Highly recommend this wonderful BnB. Breakfast was incredible, staff very friendly and location couldn’t have been better. Easy parking and lots of support in organising local bits to see, do, drink and eat. Rooms were beautifully put together, clean and fresh. The pool was really well looked after, and the grounds were beautiful. See you next time!

We stayed for 3 nights at this enchanting property and wish it had been longer. We were made to feel welcome by Peter and Bradley from the moment we arrived. Photos cannot really do justice to the beautiful rose gardens in front of the house and you feel transported from the moment you walk through the gate. The swimming pool area is a real oasis with extremely comfortable loungers and a drinks service. Unlike several of the other guest houses, the pool is heated to a very pleasant temperature. There is an honesty bar at the entrance which is extremely well stocked and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was cooked to order each morning together with a selection of yoghurts and pastries. Our room was extremely comfortable with a large bathroom and was kept spotless throughout our stay. Peter was a fund of knowledge (and entertainment!) and suggested several vineyards which were quite different. On our final day he arranged a 3 vineyard tour on our way back to Cape Town which culminated with a spectacular sunset on Signal Hill. So much more interesting than just getting a Uber from A to B. We plan to return next year and would not consider anywhere else to stay in Franschhoek.

Our stay at Les Chambres was absolutely perfect. Not one thing I could think to improve. On-site parking led us to a meticulously maintained garden, where we were warmly greeted by Peter. We were taken to a room even more beautiful than the picture. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and well appointed with all the little details, from bubbles to candy and even milk for our coffee! The bathroom was perfect for both of us to get ready together with plenty of space. We loved the pool area and oh my, the breakfast! So much delicious food. Everything was clean, quiet, and cozy. Our only regret was we couldn't stay several more nights in this beautiful comfort. Thank you, Les Chambres, for making us feel loved!
