"A wonderful peaceful place to spend a couple of days recharging from busy lives .Our family stayed in the villa called MAX HOUSE which whilst expensive is large and very beautifully appointed. The service here is impeccable we have dietary restrictions and they could not have done more . We did not enjoy the food at breakfast and that service is spotty ..but other than that I would highly recommend splurging if you are in the Franschhoek area . The grounds -flowers and statues in the Leeu Estates are positively breathtaking."

We were able to enjoy the multiple facets of this amazingly beautiful vineyard estate, from the sparkling wine, a luncheon, a cellar tour including bottling processes, a high tea, and dinner on our final night. YES! We did all of this plus we stayed on property at the beautiful villa called The Lily Pond House. We have traveled the world. We can honestly say, if you are looking for peaceful, relaxing, tranquility in the center of a vineyard, the accommodations here are breathtaking! This is a MUST VISIT, your stay will be like nothing else in the world. When it comes time for you to check out and return home. You will be sad, because you will not want to leave. But the anticipation of your future visit and memories of your stay, will always be in the front of your mind. An unforgettable experience! We also enjoyed four fabulous meals at the orangerie restaurant on the property. Each prepared by their master chef each reflecting her passion for perfection in presentation, flavorful taste bite after bite and customer satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend and suggest that you schedule your next holiday here soon. You won’t be disappointed."

"Incredible. The best place to stay in Franshhoek, without a doubt. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is second to none. JP and the team helped with wine tour logistics and late night home made pizzas! The room (Suite 3) is wonderfully designed and has all of the comforts you could ask for. Gives Soho House vibes. We enjoyed the complimentary mini bar and loved relaxing in the private pool area. Breakfast was superb - recommend the crepes or mushroom on sourdough. Location is unbeatable. We'll return, 100%."

"Maison Chablis B&B is situated in a quiet road in the heart of Franschoek, the heart of the winw atea. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is a delight and the owners and staff make sure you will have a great stay. Parking is gated but even if you park on the road your car will be perfectly safe. Close by (50m) is the main street wit an abundance of excellent restaurants. The wine tour start about 500m away and there is a spectacular market at weekends. You will be very lucky to secure a room at Maison Chablis and we recommend it very highly. "
