Small clean well run simple hotel with light and water , nice pool area good value food and drink.

One of my favs! Hotel Barmoi may not be the newest of hotels in Freetown, but it has a great location where you can hear the water crashing at night. The food is superior to other hotels, at a much more reasonable price, along with great staff! I continue to return time and time again.

Charming and nice staff BUT!!! A good hotel but not possible for me to use again, no internet that work. That is the biggest problem. Then 2 small bottles with water on arrival, but after that no water. Ok if it is not included but then they could place water in the room just make a note that it is not for free but must be paid with xx amount. No possible to brush teeth and not possible to swallow medicine. This is to bad

Spokojny hotel położony jest na skarpie nad brzegiem Oceanu . Brzeg jest tu kamienisty i nie było do niego dostępu . Przy drugim budynku hotelowym jest dla gości nieduży basen. Jednak największym plusem tego hotelu jest jego bardzo miły i pomocny personel . Według tutejszych kryteriów to hotel 4*. Nie wszystko było idealnie bo w naszym pokoju bez przekręcenia klucza drzwi się na dało zamknąć . Nie będę jednak drobiazgowy .Wszędzie było bardzo czysto , przy bufecie śniadaniowym zawsze ktoś chętny do pomocy a w recepcji uśmiechnięte i życzliwe Panie stale pytały czy wszystko jest O.K. Mieliśmy z kumplem pokój na parterze w budynku [ chyba starszym ] przy recepcji . W zasadzie nie mogliśmy na niego narzekać . Podstawowe umeblowanie z lodówką na wyposażeniu i wygodne łóżka , więc O.K. Czysta łazienka z kabiną prysznicową w zupełności nam wystarczała . Dość często natomiast były przerwy w dostawie prądu ale hotel był na to przygotowany . Mają swój generator a samochód cysterna wypełniony ropą stał cały czas na parkingu . Śniadanie w formie bufetu można było zjeść w tutejszej restauracji na piętrze lub przy stolikach rozstawionych na świeżym powietrzu [na parterze]. Przy śniadaniu zawsze była fachowa i pomocna obsługa i nie najgorszy wybór .Może ogólną ocenę trochę zawyżam ale to docenienie wszystkich ludzi tu pracujących .

Not the best customer service. Was double billed and have yet to be refunded... 2months and counting.

It has been a huge pleasure to stay at Hotel Barmoi. The staff has been so kind, helpful, supportive, positive, smiling, friendly and patient with me and the group I brought here. The breakfast and the food available in the restaurant is excellent. The two pools are beautiful, clean and lovely, and the hotel is beautiful. I cannot wait to come back to this gem of a hotel!

Staff is courteous. Conscious ones that want to circulate their dollars with intention, this is the place.

I stayed at Bamoy Hotel for four days from the 28th to the 1st. The property itself is very clean, and the pools were amazing definitely one of the highlights of my stay. However, guests should be aware that there are frequent events held at the hotel, especially during the holiday season. The rooms are not soundproof, and the music and noise often went on very late into the night sometimes until 12 a.m., and on some nights until 3–4 a.m. This made it difficult to get proper rest. If you’re visiting mainly to relax and sleep early during the peak festive season, this may not be the best option. Outside of the noise issue, my overall experience was good, and I enjoyed the facilities, but the constant loud music became too much for me as the days went on. I’m not sure what it’s like from January to November, but during the holiday period it’s definitely lively and event-heavy.

I was more than satisfied with the quality of service, the attention to detail provided by the staff and the variety of African cuisine offered on a daily basis. When my bill was presented I was bowled over; the services including food was so inexpensive! I’m definitely using Hotel Barmoi on my next video t!
